  • When I hear news like this about a Dem leader I can practically hear and see the drool coming from the mouths of the bobble-heads...

And I realize that I won't be able to bring myself to watch the Cable news for the next couple of days because this will be all they go on about 24/7...

What good is press freedom, when the Corporate media is so stupid and clueless?

  • Good snark...thanks...and jackass doesn't begin to describe this criminal president and his braying hind end the Republican party...

And the sentence was actually a slap in the face to the prosecution and the Bush administration...with time off he has a 5 or 6 month sentence...but of course if McKrkusty is elected, he will be there for the duration of his presidency at least. I'm not even sure Obama would release him if he were president...

  • I agree it's working, and it's probably the reason the race is so close right now...

McKrusty throws out 4 nasty and stupid attack ads at Obama in a couple of weeks which cable news shows free of charge again and again and when the Obama campaign fights back and tries to correct some of the perceptions and lies, he's accused of going negative.

When he points out that he's not the candidate from central casting, he's blasted as a racist by McKrusty, and the bobble-heads dutifully pick up and amplify the message...

The stupid really hurts...but unfortunately these attack ads appeal to the reptile brain of the uninformed voter, and as it's negative message seeps in, the damage is done...

  • Dear Offensive...I'm not sure why raising the question of Jewish neocon's divided loyalties is wrong or bad...the group of Neocons who helped push us into the disastrous and immoral occupation of Iraq are the same group who are now raising the banners for war with Iran...which would be even more disastrous.

Clearly the group pushes the theme that whatever is good for Israel is good for the US, even when the opposite is true.

Could you please explain clearly to me why Perl, Lieberman, Feith, Scheunemann, Wolfowitz, Podhoretz, & Co and their distortions of US policy to fit their own world view DOES NOT REFLECT DIVIDED LOYALTIES?

I'm waiting to hear your tortured explanations Vlad...

  • Thanks for a wonderful post Todd...I hope this will be read and widely discussed, but I fear it will be lost in the general noise of this election cycle...

The only game plan McKrusty has is to continue drilling the fear factor into the American people so they will vote their deepest fears rather then their highest hopes.

This worked for Bush for two cycles...we'll see if it works again come November.

  • This is disappointing to me...I've always had a pretty high opinion of Rangel. I'm sure the Republicans are going to use this to hit the Dems over the head with...

But Charlie's standing in his district and his electability will probably not suffer...the damage is to the Dem brand nationally.

  • The official Corporate Media line these days about the presidential race seems to be that Obama is losing his edge nationally...how come he seems to be doing well and even gaining ground in most battleground states?...

    What gives?

  • I suspect the official line of the US government was that they were discouraging the the Kurdish/Hunt Oil deal, but Bush and Cheney were encouraging it behind the scenes...this is a more likely scenario then the one depicted above...no proof of this, but I doubt the deal would have gone forward without some OK from the top...

  • Why not TODAY! Why do the Dems always bluster, threaten and write angry letters and then DO NOTHING?

The Repubs almost always vote together to block anything happening in Congress, while a large block of the Dem majority party often votes with the minority...thus crippling their leadership in achieving anything of substance!

When are the criminals in this administration going to be held accountable? Impeach, indict and imprison the bastards!
