The line from the movie Unforgiven is most apt for this post and the endless fawning over poor Hillary (she of the 'enough with the speeches and big rallies' line).Hillary has played the game as hard as she possibly can so she can complain about nothing:
as the corrupt Marshall is about to die he says
"I dont deserve this " and Eastwood's character replies:
"deserve's got nothing to do with it"Posted at May 31, 2008 9:41 AM in response to Pfleger Was Wrong and Owes Hillary a Public Apology

so greg that makes everything fine.
strange because I thought that was one of the oddest things about the story: the fact that the questioners appeared not to actually listen or hear what she said whereas almost everyone else understood the implication immediately.Perhaps another conclusion would be that the times argus people do not hear nuance or just did not see the window that opened into her soul for a minute.I really did not buy into this Greg is pro Clinton stuff but this is a weird defense of Clinton but keep it up Greg, you are right : it is not June yet and maybe something will happen and she can step in and save us all.

Thank you Steve Clemons for continuing to talk sense about Cuba.
I think, however, that we need to go further in the change. Why is it that American citizens who are supposed to enjoy the right to travel should be denied the right to go to Cuba?
the right to travel to Cuba should not be dependent on a citizen's being of Cuban ancestry nor should it be dependent on a citizen's having to justify the worth of his or her trip to govt officials.

she is way past graciousness. just beat her.
no handwringing, no attacking her no appeals, it just makes her go farther. just show the country the delegates, pledged and super, and it now or in June.
Obama is right. do not talk to her. just beat her and leave her and her husband by the side of the road mumbling about white people coming to help her

I think that Hillary is about to live a Johnny Cash song:

I think that Ickes is starting to channel Joe McCarthy:
"I have here in my hand a list of 205 . . . a list of names that were made known..."
the question is whether 205 would be enough?

Eric, you are beginning to act like the Washington Post of the first 2-t 3 years of the war (I don't know about the other years because I dropped my subscription to Fred Hiatt's BS) but now even Josh Marshall's site is starting to be overrun with purveyors of some sort of weird conventional wisdom.
have you all stopped thinking and now just write whatever the people at the page or Ben Smith write. ? As Al Giordano said about smith and the page-- those are the best places to look if one wants to know what HRC's people are putting out---We do not need another such site.
I started reading JM b/c he is thoughtful and smart and does not add little stupid taglines to his posts that have no basis in reality but you are failing him. Good grief, even Roger Simon knows that HRC is living in a fantasy world of popular votes and super delegates who will accompany her and her buddy McCain to the gates of hell (only to meet the lobbyists actually)
Aren't you ashamed?I mean Roger Simon understands and poor Eric just laps up the swill.
memo to JM: you bothered to get a doctorate at Brown only to have this incompetent work for you? please it is time Eric moved on to his true calling --Talk Left probably needs another Hillary sycophant

What I'm afraid of is African Americans ditching the party...
Posted by LBJ's Brain
you better be afraid of some other people ditching the party also. You really believe that just because I am white that I would vote for Hillary? If so then you are really missing the problems that HRCand WJC have with the party and country.By the lights of many on this site my brother and I would be dismissed as two old southern white guys (60 and lives in NC and 57 in VA ),and we are, but neither of us will vote for clinton if she steals the nomination and at this point that is the only way for her to get it.
So figure it out that not all of us old southern white guys are closet racists in the fashion that the Clintons want us to be.Posted at April 29, 2008 3:40 PM in response to SurveyUSA: Hillary Only Five Points Behind In North Carolina
