I don't believe so, but I could be wrong. The question I want addressed is what type of security clearance does Brown have? I would think an extensive background check would have been run by the FBI and the White House itself would have vetted him. I mean how did he get this position?

I sure hope you are wrong.
Mistakes will always be made. But when will someone in this administration say, "hey we made a mistake!" I mean I treat stray dogs better then our fellow citizens were treated in NO for days on end. It is so sick I can't even find the right words to use.

Josh has hit on the main point here in spade. If you pass the darn law, you then can't say the law was so complex you couldn't understand (and therefore conform with it) it.

As a proud liberal I don't understand why everyone seems to be so upset by the Robert's nomination. It would seem Bush could have nominated someone a lot more conservative.
