  • Thank you Senator Clinton!

I was an Edwards then Obama supporter.

I felt Senator Clinton clearly and firmly expressed how much Democratic unity was needed for the November election, and how much we need a Democrat, and Obama as President.

As pissed off as I was at her during the primaries, I *do* believe she wants to move forward, move the country forward, and really help elect Barack Obama as President.

She even won me over on putting her on the short list for VP.

This comment is coming from a 54 year old white woman, who lives in the Rocky Mountain region, who to reiterate, was really angered by her behavior during the primaries. (go figure!)

    Thanks again, Senator Clinton!

  • Couldn't disagree with you more.

The reason Bill Clinton would be a *major* distraction to Obama's presidency.

  • This goes beyond "Clinton" framing, this was *neo-conservative* and *Republican* framing, as Bob Cesca so bitingly brings up in his *dead-on*, cogent, editorial in the Huff Post today, titled: "The Very Serious Debate,Starring The Very Serious George and Charlie".

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/bob-cesca/the-very-serious-debate-s_b_97231.html

Here's the opening salvo of his editorial:

We like to joke about the "very serious" traditional media. The truth is that while they claim exclusive lordship over integrity and professionalism -- not to mention a corner on the world's supply of pants made of smarty -- they're really a freak show with serious haircuts and suits. They're a wing of the Republican corporatist conspiracy against America. And the very serious moderators of last night's Democratic debate couldn't have been less serious if they had been wearing clown suits made of dildos while simultaneously tickling each other with monkeys.

  • Since the ABC phone lines were jammed, I emailed this short little ditty to them. They only allowed 500 words so I had to be brief.

Shame on you George, and Charlie, and ABC!

That was *the worst* hosting of a debate I have ever seen. It was National Enquirer time, not ABC News.

*NO* Substance, mostly petty, gotcha' questions.

All of you, George, Charlie and ABC, gave the collective finger to us, the American public, regarding one of the most important presidential races in modern time.

Your questions were insulting, to the candidates and the American public.
