  • I just saw this on CNN and came here to see if you would talk about it...there you go.

The hatred right now is astounding by the Republicans. It goes with something I said that they feel it is the end for them...at least for a while.

Crowds can lose control, but that McCain consents to it is disturbing.

  • Nothing surprises me in this election. I expect the worst of the worst from now until the end.

  • Republicans are really that evil as to wish a terrorist attack. I believe it. They won't conspire to it, that's not what I'm saying, but deep down they don't care about lives lost; they only care to keep the WH.

We can't underestimate the power of fear. Create enough fear about Obama and bingo! So I am nervous. And hopes America won't fall for fear tactics again.

This is getting very depressing. McCain has become for me the most despicable man ever in US politics.

If Obama wins and Democrats win a majority (still likely to be the outcome) it will be payback time. Adios Lieberman, McCain, Bush style governance...If Obama wins McCain knows he is finished and condemned to spend his life as an outcast.

The whole right-wing rule is basically finished and will need years to rebuild. That is why the GOP is so angry and desperate to tear down Obama, no matter how distorted or false their attacks are.

  • I actually think that polls will sometimes get back to being tighter, but feel Obama will lead more or less comfortably until the end. We'll all probably panic nonetheless (myself included) when a couple of ties come out.

But honestly, I am sensing that too much damage has been done in the McCain camp. And Obama feels once again in total command and that is good, as long as he doesn't take anything for granted and be prepared. I see the Obama that first inspired me even 4 years ago. And if he wins (probably) he will go down as the most organized campaigner in history. But to make history he has to win.

Part of me truly thinks though that people are becoming indifferent to McCain's Hail Mary passes. How many more can he afford before he has no credibility left? I think he's on the edge.

  • I agree. He makes me nervous when he talks about McCain, always fearful he'll blurt out something like McCain will be a great President, but when he talks about Obama, although restrained, he's always firm about his support and why we should vote for him. He talks about McCain the man, but never about his leadership.

Not once has Clinton said McCain is a great leader or will be a great President. And on the issues he has always maintained that Obama is right and McCain is wrong.

But I will breathe better when he stops those appearances and campaigns for Obama from Oct. 9th on. His appearance just create too much controversy that the media uses to try light up the divisions in the Party...that really frustrates me, the media's obsession with every little word that turns into drama.

  • By then, what McCain does people will just say: damn that guy is desperate and can't manage his campaign, how can he manage the country?

A last minute VP pick is plausible, but so politically oriented and people will feel like this guy is just erratic and impulsive. Basically, he's a mess.

The tear thing is plausible as well. But can people swallow it and see it as sincere on the dawn of election day? I think not.

That being said, don't underestimate FOX News, the Republican attack machine, or Schmidt's Karl Rove tactics until the end. I'm sure Obama doesn't and his people are probably making up scenarios of possibilities and how to respond.

In this campaign though: get ready for anything. Republicans may even wish there will be another terrorist attack, that's how desperate they are.

  • The Raines smear will die soon. After things become disproven they always look for something to attack the evil liberal black guy named Obama.

Rev. Wright has been done to death. To death! Except for obsessed Obama haters, people just say: why are they talking about that that again.

  • I can't see why Powell would now endorse McCain. But man I wouldn't want to be around McCain when he hears the news that Gen. Powell is endorsing the man he can't even look at.

  • I have to say I agree. McCain will not go down in honor. He is throwing away his dignity, honor, and integrity to try to win.

Last night was the nail in the coffin for me. Hey John: Look at Obama for crying out loud.

McCain looked like he was going to burst in a fit of rage at any moment.I despise that man. I never thought I would hate him so much. I won't stand 4 years of his face. But it looks like I won't have to.

  • I think he already has. He's been campaigning like he's in a tantrum since Obama's foreign trip.
