I thought Lindsay Graham's speech was remarkable. All that was missing was a swastika on his arm.

O'Reilly's sitdown with Obama was a non-event. I just don't understand why BO agreed to it. O'Reilly is clearly a loathesome, anti-intellectual cretin and I found it embarrasing to watch. Especially when Obama agreed that the Surge[tm] was a sucess..."beyond our wildest dreams." They only showed 15 minutes of a longer interview that will be shown next Mon., Tues. and Wed.

Using the word "uppity" in general is not the problem. Using it specifically towards a black person carries all sorts of historically racist connotations.

Loved Biden's responses this morning. Taking the very high road on Sarah Palin, which is so definitely the path for us right now.

I disagree. Between Rudy and Palin I felt as though I was watching a Bund Rally. It was shrill, dismissive, hateful, full of lies, distortions and mocking disinformattion. Clearly, they have no respect for the political process. If McCain pulls out a win our country is sunk and playing "nice" right now will get our Party nowhere.

I felt like I was watching a Bund Rally. Pathetic and frightening. If McCain wins it might be time to consider leaving. More wars, more crazy Supreme Court nominees, more graft, greed and corruption, more Media control of the message and suppression of personal liberty.

I suspect the Republicans are furiously "vetting" Joe Biden right now to find ANYTHING to make a scandal out of to take the heat off Palin. I see that as their only real alternative. I won't be surprised if, at any moment, we start hearing about Biden...and of course the Media will gobble it up.
