Has anyone started a petition to have him banned from MSNBC??
The other day he said that Rev. Wright's "job is not to be a civil rights leader." Yeah, and Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was just a motivational speaker.
He keeps mis-informing the viewers about the extent of Rev. Wright's relationship with Obama. He was NOT his spiritual advisor and mentor; he was his PASTOR. There is a difference.
I wish someone, on air, would ask Watkins if he himself has watched each and every last sermon Rev. Wright has given over the past 30 years. If he hasn't, which I presume is the case, then he has NO right to sit there and perpetuate the ridiculous argument that Obama's judgment is tainted for having sat in the pews of that church for 20 years. Other members of TUCC were similarly outraged by the controversial sermons looped over and over, yet not one MSM outlet has interviewed any of these members.
I HATE JOE WATKINS WITH A PASSION.

I don't think Reverend Wright's position on the AIDS virus is out of touch with reality.
It boggles my mind that the MSM conveniently forgets the Bayer Drug scandal of the 80s...I mean, the New York Times blew the lid on it back in 2003...
For those who don't remember, Bayer Drug sold Factor VIII, a blood-clotting medicine, to hemophiliacs here in the US and abroad. Well, Bayer found out that this medicine, an injectible, was contaminated with the AIDS virus. It stopped selling it in the US, but Bayer continued to sell it to foreign countries.
Bayer deliberately tried to keep the whole AIDS contamination thing out of the press so that it wouldn't get stuck with a huge stockpile of meds that it couldn't sell. I mean, that would be bad for business.
And when the FDA found out about this, its only concern was to keep it from Congress and the medical community. Did it help Bayer spread AIDS to hemophiliacs across the world??
