Why I won't vote for Hillary
I agree that the progressive agenda is very important, but I see the chance of a progressive agenda moving forward with a Clinton presidency as very weak, perhaps not at all. I agree that there's little substantive difference between Obama's...more »

The Imploding Democratic Party?
http://talkingpointsmemo.com/archives/184975.phpJosh got this one just about right. Emotional infantilism, indeed. As someone who has been guilty of this very thing, I am glad Josh is calling us all on our bullshit. I am heavily invested emotionally, mentally, financially, and physically...more »

extremely disappointing, Greg. a side-by-side comparison of reporting on both candidates would have been more objective, and would have presented a more accurate picture of media bias (which is the right question, because bias is conflated with fairness in the vernacular), one way or the other.

wow. this bodes extremely well for the party, and speaks powerfully as an example of change. any argument that Obama would not be capable of any sort of real change just got weaker.

is it just me, or does Mark Penn really look like he's made up of pus? basically everything he's about and all of his ideas seem to spring from some sort of infection.

how is a judge who likes porn presiding over a pornography case any different than pro lifer Chief Supreme Court Justice John Roberts presiding over women's rights cases?
besides, everyone looks at porn of some sort. most people are just afraid to admit it.

McCant is just making it easier for Obama to make his case for opting out of public financing, which he definitely should. A campaign directly going after 527s w/o carrying the baggage of 527s will reverberate through the electorate.

another bit of reckless reporting from the AP. by putting this out now, they are raising the specter of the nomination being "stolen" and given to Obama by the SDs. we all know that's BS, but it's just another wedge between Obama and the Clintonuts. this could make talking them down from their ledges that much more difficult.
But I'll go ahead and congratulate Mr. Obama just the same!

I like Al, but Barack is one of a kind. Besides, Al is having way too much fun these days. He's got power and cred and doesn't have to suffer the bullshit that politicians do. Why would he want to change that? But for Joe Klein - or anyone else thinking seriously about this just shows you how retarded they are (no offense to anyone with mental disabilities). All of these pundits and so-called journalists are trying to find some way a getting attention, and when they're not scraping the bottom, they're scraping the resin from their bowls that have been fueling their pipe dreams.
