I also think Obama looked presidential. McCain looked like some grumpy old man who can't speak coherently. Furthermore, Obama seemed to answer the questions and had a vision for the future. McCain seemed to relish in the past -- the Reagan era. By the time he got through rambling through his answers, I forgot what the questions were. He mostly seemed to attack Obama, but offered no solutions to our current problems -- other than his definition of victory in Iraq.

I am a 60 year old Black woman. I am also an Obama supporter; however, I was a Clinton supporter. It was a struggle for me because I admired both candidates. I believed she was the more experienced candidate. When I was in the voting booth I struggled, even then, with my decision. I ended up voting for Obama. However, I continued to support Clinton and contributed to her campaign because of my guilt feelings for voting for Obama. Over time, I became enthusiastic about my vote for Obama. I've kept up with the polls, I've watched every debate and listened to and read all of the political pundits. I was not upset with Bill about the Rev. Jackson comments. I was not upset with him about the "fairy tale" comments. I was not upset with Hillary about the Martin Luther King vs. President Johnson comment. I began to be concerned when Geraldine Ferraro made her comments. I became uneasy when, in the last debate, she brought up the former radical Avery. Obama on the other hand wouldn't even make a comment about her Bosnia trip. And now with the gas tax holiday, I'm completely disgusted with her and her political pandering. I realize she's a fighter, but at what price glory?

I saw the show too. It was, I believe, the worse show ever because of Gary Shandling. They couldn't have an honest discussion about anything because he (Shandling) was either cracking jokes, changing the subject or being completely incoherent.

You've pointed out many problems with Hilary getting the nomination. Let's not forget what the Republicans will do to her and Bill. The Republicans will come out of the woodwork to vote against her. They don't want Bill in the White House again. As for that matter, many Democrats don't want to go through those grueling times either. Yes, he did a lot of good for the country, but do we really want to rehash those years again? I have nothing against Hilary. If she gets the nomination, I'll of course vote for her. But I pray she doesn't get the nomination. I live in Atlanta, Georgia. You should hear some of these white folks down here talk about her. They really, really hate her.
