One thing is for sure: Wolfson wants to make sure that, after Obama gets elected, Obama won't owe Bill Clinton a god-damned thing.Posted at August 25, 2008 12:15 PM in response to Howard Wolfson Confirms Rift Between Bill Clinton And Obama

They should keep going back to that well!
"Hey Bill, did you hear that 5 Republican Senators will be endorsing Obama? Seems they want a return to civility, and no anger"
"Hey Bill, did you hear that Jack Kemp and Howard Baker will be endorsing Obama? Seems they want a return to a sane international policy"
"Hey Bill, did you hear that Cindy McCain will be endorsing Obama? Seems she wants to leave her broken down spouse for someone younger, richer, and better looking. Now from *where* did she get *that* idea!"

Lest anyone forget, from Wiki:
At the CRNC, Abramoff, Norquist and Reed formed what was known as the "Abramoff-Norquist-Reed triumvirate." Upon Abramoff's election, the trio purged "dissidents" and re-wrote the CRNC's bylaws to consolidate their control over the organization. Abramoff promoted Reed in 1983, appointing him to succeed Norquist as Executive Director of the CRNC.
Reed roomed with Abramoff in Washington, D.C., and later introduced Abramoff to the woman who would become his wife. Reed participated in the weddings of both Abramoff and Norquist. Norquist would later serve as President of Americans for Tax Reform, an anti-tax nonprofit lobbying firm in Washington, D.C.

Didn't it come out that Bill Clinton, while the nominee for President in 1992, had had an affair with one Gennifer Flowers?
He went on to be one great President. I don't see infidelity, or even lying about it, by a politician, with some staffer, as being an issue important to me (instead, I am concerned about wars, bad tax policies, and looming depressions).
Now, what you'll jump on, is that she was paid $100K by a pac to make a film, which she had no experience in. This is just doing Fox News' work for them. She's not the first paid staffer to have an affair with their employer. Moreover, it's just a non-issue compared to the more relevant ones of wars, bad tax policies, and looming depressions.

Agreed. "McCain is a liar," is a great message. Plenty of flip flop in his recent history, and one can cite the years of being against the GOP base, to soften up his core constituency, let'em stay at home come Nov.
He's a dishonest liar, says one thing, but gets elected and does another. How else could he run as a Republican, then be against the Republican party all those years?

Here's why: When you are denied a job for unfair and illegal reasons, there is absolutely no upside to speaking out, and becoming the basis for prosecution. And the downside -- as the Bush White House has tried to make extremely clear -- is enormous.
