You could get Ben Nelson in a small room and tell him that if he votes with Bush again that you're going to kick his a**. That's a start. Same with Liebermann.
You could also find out why Diane Feinstein has a 17 million dollar house on her salary. Oops, it's because her husband has the Iraqi power grid contract. Conflict of interest?
I'm sure there were people in the Kremlin running around shouting "we can't just pull out". Their country is gone. Are we far behind?Posted at November 16, 2006 10:13 AM in response to Dems, So Now What Do We Do?

Brown has a better fundraising record
Exactly! Which is why the Democrats have lost elections to a C- Yale student twice in a row. Fundraising does not get people elected. Votes get people elected. When was the last time a democrat walked into a meat-packing plant, McDonalds, or car wash and told the voters who work there that he/she was going to raise their standard of living, raise the minimum wage, get them health insurance and that he/she was asking for their support in the form of a vote? If you don't have five $100 bills sticking out of your pocket, people like Brown don't even see you. This is also why people who make $13k/year go and buy a six pack rather than waste their time and energy voting for Republicans or Republican-Lites. If anyone in this universe thinks that the Democrats have a strategy to win, they've been playing Rip Van Winkle for the past 30 years. Clinton was a freak accident.

The team also yanked the rug from Cindy Sheehan in the same way. Their opininn must be, how can we afford $5 mil houses, servants, and trips to paradise on a pauper's salary? If it weren't for kickbacks from Lockheed and other war profiteers there would be no killing in Iraq and no killing to be made in the game of public service. Remember, these people only make around $150k/year so why are they living like kings? Do the math. Hackett and Sheehan are dangerous people who could upset the entire system of graft and corruption that has been years in the making.

Just how the Nazis took control of Germany is no mystery. All one needs to do is to watch it all unfold again. The Nazis exploited fear, prejudice, and self-interest...you see? The reason news organizations don't run unsympathetic stories about Bush is because they have children in private schools, mortgages, and careers, just like people in Germany did in 1933. Amazing. If you don't believe me, just ask Peter Arnett!
