Wouldn't George Tenants, vist to Crawford in August of 2000, with a memo in hand "Al Qeada determine to attack the USA", warrent a response from the  administration to pick these poeple up before something happened??


Mr. Weldon and a former defense intelligence official who was interviewed on Monday have said that the Able Danger team sought but failed in the summer of 2000 to persuade the military's Special Operations Command, in Tampa, Fla., to pass on to the Federal Bureau of Investigation the information they had gathered about Mr. Atta and the three other men. The Pentagon and the Special Operations Command have declined to comment, saying they are still trying to learn more about what may have happened.   Washington - The Sept. 11 commission was warned by a uniformed military officer 10 days before issuing its final report that the account would be incomplete without reference to what he described as a secret military operation that by the summer of 2000 had identified as a potential threat the member of Al Qaeda who would lead the attacks more than a year later, commission officials said on Wednesday  

It is quite obivious that their is enough circumstancial evidence that this President, and the VP lied to the Senate and the American People about the WMD's.

Some people and press organizations are also to blame for this debacle.

Where is Jay Rockefeller and his conculsions from the second Intelligence Report ?  This is a joke.

The sad part is that Americans and innocent people living in Iraq had to die needlessly.

It is quite apparent that when Bush uttered to Kerry during the campaign, "That he saw the same intelligence I saw" he was lying.

Whenever anyone in the intelligence community or officials tried to tell the administration that Iraq had no WMD's, they were either theartened with their jobs, by Bolton or smeared by the administration.

If the Democrats can use the supeona to force the NSA to hand over those documents, the evidence will be found that this Adminstartion, use coercian and mis-information that led this nation to war.

By making it an issue it will draw the nations attention to the issue. But, I fear that the Democratic Senators on the Foriegn Intell Staff  have dirty hands and knew they were looking at bad intelligence.

Do you mean to say that no-one on the Foriegn Intelligence staff knew they were looking at a lot of fluff from the Adminstration?
