Does anyone find it odd that Obama has tens of millions of dollars from grassroots fundraising and Clinton is practically bankrupt, yet supposedly they are so close? How does that translate...except the obvious Republican crossover votes to skew in favor of a weaker candidate?
And again, Clinton was expected to win PA. The fact that it was by less than the double digits expected should speak volumes. All of this hoopla has nothing to do with anything but a MSM grab for attention.
And Obama won Texas...so much for the big state argument....

and what are you ignoring when it comes to your candidate of choise? I will never forget Clinton coming out publicly for this illegal war. She panders, she's got what...$2.3 billion in earmarks. She's funded by the pharmaceutical, oil and insurance companies. If she gets in, what is the likelihood of ANY change in those areas with someone who is indebted to them?
Sigh.
I guess I have as much potential of changing your mind as you do mine.
Sad really.Posted at April 30, 2008 1:28 PM in response to Obama is a sure loser.

straight off of AM radio from Slush Limpjaw - drink the koolaid, drink the koolaid. How inane. Constantly insinuating that anyone not supporting your choice is a mindless follower. How sad.Posted at April 30, 2008 12:08 PM in response to Obama is a sure loser.

Hang on a minute. Obama should drop out? Because someone else said something that others found offensive? Because articles have been written by the MSM? Because he isn't the (gasp) pristine, perfect, unflawed human being the MSM has been building him up to be?
If this is the premise, any catholic person running for office should quit now. The priests that molested children and stole money have tainted their congregations...forever! How ridiculous is that? Since when are we to only be around people that fall in lockstep with our own points of view? And since when are we responsible for the words or actions of others? Seriously. My pastor is a great guy, I adore him, but his as rightwing as they get, and he says some pretty ridiculous things. But OVERALL the interpretation of the bible that he presents, appeals to me...for the most part. I admire his refusal to elevate himself. I connect to the stories he tells. My brother's pastor compared Bush I & II to the Father and the Son. How sacriligious is that??!! But I didn't get up and leave. I didn't raise my fist in protest or shout back that he was insane. I was there to worship. NOT the PASTOR but God. Keep things in perspective.
Obama is ahead. Just because the media has turned on him does not mean that he needs to go away. I have been following him for over 4 years, gauging his actions by what he says and I am absolutely convinced that he is the real deal. Let's not forget that Clinton was supposed to win PA by double digits. She did not. She won by 9.2% which by any other calculator would be rounded DOWN not UP. He managed to close that gap pretty tight.
Do we really want the nominee to be determined by Rush's Operation Chaos? Do we really want the person that the rightwing is trumpeting? Is this the best we can do? Same ole same ole, business as usual. Clinton will be giving testimony, if nominated, as the democratic nominee, for a civil case of fraud. Is that not just handing the presidency over to McCain?
Come on now.
