"She is having the worst case of cognitive dissonance in the history of modern politics."

I used to respect Wolf, until this election. The bias towards Clinton is ridiculous. I've emailed CNN multiple times. I suggest you all do the same.
I also suspect that in 4-8 years, most news will be via the internet. People like having info at their own fingertips - not being forced the info by human and, thus, biased anchors.Posted at March 30, 2008 10:34 PM in response to WOLF BLITZER IS THE BIGGEST SHILLEST A-HOLE

Yeah its silly. Plus, why is Josh posting this? I assume to highlight the ridiculousness of it. If it is so ridiculous, maybe he should say so. Give us your thoughts Josh!
Also, people talk about arrogance. This is arrogance. Asking the leading candidate to take second place when you are in second place is retarded. Its like telling Carl Lewis to slow up a little.Posted at March 30, 2008 7:26 PM in response to TPM Reader DS says...

I'm with you here. The narrative will change from close race to justifications for Clinton staying in the race. That is the problem for Clinton in upcoming weeks, especially if Obama continues to lead in the polls.

As an Obama supporter, I have to say its sort of offensive what you said. I understand your anger/frustration towards Clinton, but you don't have to name call her... it just fans the flames instead of finding a solution to the problem of this Dem nomination process.

To be fair, I believe that Clinton uses a third party to take care of vendors. It sounds like this third party does a bad job of taking care of her bills. Its up to the voter to decide how much culpability she has in this. I think that if left unchecked, this type of behavior could sink her campaign.

Great post. Her mistake and her handling of the mistake expose her key weaknesses as a CiC. First, don't make that mistake. As we've seen, it pisses the military personel off when someone falsifies "combat" like that. Second, it puts into question her integrity. Second, if you make the mistake - just say I'm sorry, I exaggerated - I get carried away sometimes. Everyone does - then its easier to swallow. But to say it was a misstatement? No parsing of words by the Clintons can make that go away.

I'm still at a loss of words as to why the Michigan and Florida issue is Obama's responsibility at all? He did not "freeze" the process - he simply is saying he will do what the DNC does. Because he refuses to do what Clinton says means he's anti Michigan and Florida? No.
What Clinton is doing is going back on her word - and let me say this strongly if I no one else has said it before. She said prior to the campaign that she agreed with the DNC ruling on Michigan and Florida. She supported the DNC. So why all of a sudden does she turn around and change her support? It is the biggest flip-flop this side of McCain that has not been reported because no one wants to go there. Not sure why.
As for Obama's arrogance? That cracks me up. People say he's arrogant for doing something one way and doing something another way. He can do no right - both Republicans and Clinton supportin Democrats corner him in this way all the time. And yet he still does well in spite of this.
Arrogance? Arrogance is saying that someone can be your Vice President when you are losing. That's arrogance.Posted at March 30, 2008 11:22 AM in response to Arrogance? Obama is ok with Hillary continuing campaign?

I agree with you and its a great post - but I have to stop and think that the main Republican trait that Clinton expresses is the campaign style she is pushing. That is Rovian/Republican scorched earth campaigning that we never wanted to see in the Democratic party. Her policies are still Democratic, let us not forget that.

Yeah she has guts to do that. I find it interesting that any African-American candidate can support Hillary Clinton in light of what has happened recently. I understand if they wanted to support her prior to the campaign being started, but now? Its almost a blind loyalty - clinging on to the hope that somehow she'll pull it through and give them some political benefit.
