  • They still will have Regent grads working. And selected over grads from class I law schools because they weren't "saved," Jewish, black, liberal or athiest and more qualified. The more things change the more they stay the same. Mukasey is a hack. No different than Gonzales, If he was different he would turn over the fired AUSA information, includung that between Justice and the political office of the WH.

  • I want to see the Republican arm of the Democratic Party the DLC, minimized as much as possible. I read yesterday, Raul Emanuel wanted to be Speaker of the House. I cringed and my teeth hurt reading it. That would put people like Ford, and Al From in charge. Would that the DNC and Howard Dean be able to put them out of business. For Ford to say we need more Lieberman's in the Democratic Party means he wants more back stabbers, platitudiness, patronizing, condescending assholes like himself. That organization attempted to take credit for the Democrats wins in 2006 and it was Dean and his 50 State Initiative that did it. The same with Schumer in the Senate.

  • I agree with the post but I'll stay here. All three blogs stay on this administration' follies. That satisfies me more than the campaign. No president keeps his promises. If he does they aren't recognizable and watered down. I think Graduate Student should take the blogs comments about our candidate and Obama's declarations with a grain of salt. When push comes to shove, the last weeks of October, we all will be on the bandwagon singing the same tune. It is just imperative we get a Democratic president along with as many gains in congress as possible.

  • Hopefully when Edwards is AG he will pursue these allegations. That is when we find if his rhetoric is meaningful and true. This administration operates on "GI-GO." For sure there will be a couple Representatives screaaming for records and Finegold in the Senate. Depending on the party governor(R) Whitehouse would also make a great AG.

  • It is almost schaudenfruede if McConnell said that. It will be if he loses his seat. It will be a twofer. His old lady will have to go too. They will lobby but with Democrats. I am aboard with Webb for VP. If Obama wins with Webb, runs a smooth 8 year Presidency, Webb would be a shoe in for President. I will probably be on the gurney at the medical school anatomy class by then but it would be great fpor my family. Unfortunately I/we didn't make it into the "elite" class.

  • If they didn't violate the Privacy Act, why are they paying? They have a company of Regent Law School graduates to fight it in court. They don't charge $500.00/hr. I guess if they fought it with them they would have had to admit guilt and pay $5mil up front and $300,000.00/yr. What the hell should the Wilson's get!?

  • Does this report indicate some testifying before congress lied? Such as hiring only 'good Americans?" Monica Goodling was the only one who seemed alone in being somewhat truthful. Maybe Conyers will have less trouble (or more?) getting the same people back again. Including Gonzales. Whatever happened to the accusation Gonzales tried to manipulate Monica's testimony?
