  • I think 50% of mails are intended for update/information/campaign-mood etc, but they seem to have the DONATE button as their signature even i those mails. so technically, you are right there seems to be an underlying interntion of raising money, but as others have pointed out, to raise up to or more than one million dollars per day, they do have to contact people since that is their main source of income. i am happy with the mails that come with the signature DONATE rather than explicitly asking me to donate $25.

  • this whole thing with FL and MI is a nonsense and BO should not agree to anything unless she drops out.

i do not want to entertain the math of FL and MI, but since you are putting it out there, i would like to point out a small error in your calculation.

For Obama with FL and MI, when you add the SDs, the total delegates should be 1816 + 262 = 2078 rather than 1785+ 262 =2047 as you have posted. so he will need another 131 to reach 2209.

  • glad to learn that you will vote for BO. regarding other hillary supporters, i wonder whether one is a true Democrat if by spite, he/she will indeed vote Republican. It is a childish behavior, don't you think?
The two parties have completely different ideals/platforms. How could anyone be participating in Democratic primaries if they are okay with Republican value system. that does not make sense to me.
the greatness of democracy is that the will of the people carries the day, whether that will is popular by just one delegate (for this race) or by one vote. i believe that Hillary supporters will support Barack.

  • i think he will be short. he needs almost 135 delegates to obtain unbeatable lead in pledged delegates (1627). tomorrow he might get a maximum of 95 delegates, still 40 short.

  • thanks for reporting it. i am glad that people are atleast hearing him out. I believe that if you listen to Obama, then his subtle yet powerful message of the necessity of grass roots involvement in the government for the "betterment" of the people will win the election.

  • My two cents.

Good piece of reporting. MSM can be so attrocious and insulting. I think there is more to be said about the 65%-35% ( ~ 2 to 1) split among all white women who made up 50% of the electorate or ~ 1.2 million. If they went 2 to 1 (acc to exit polls) for Hillary that is aproximately 360000 additional votes for Hillary. This, i believe, is mainly due to their interest in seeing a woman in the WH in their lifetime rather than them voting against Obama.

If you compare this to the 8% so called whites (80% of electorate in PA was white) who admitted they are voting based on race, this comes to ~ 150000 (0.08*0.8*2300000).

In Philly area Obama netted close of 140000 votes which tells me that his defeat in the PA primary was more due to gender bias than race. He could not make up the huge difference in white women votes.

This should not be too concerning to Obama for the GE as i cannot imagine someone voting democratic go republican (the heat of the primary makes people say stuff they don't really beilve) if they are true to their beliefs.
