Thanks for this post -- they're a nice reprieve from the kitchen-sink storm, and a reminder as to why Obama is the best candidate for this country right now.

I was thrilled when I heard Bill Moyers would be interviewing Rev Wright. There is simply no better journalist in the country to have done this interview. Moyers has a level of intellectual integrity, curiosity, and spiritual generosity that I find impressive and inspiring. He is not fearful of exploring controversial ideas and issues, and I think he did a great job in his interview with Rev Wright.
Also, I like the use of the word "humanizing" by one poster. That's been the problem with the Rev Wright "scandal" to date -- he has been completely, utterly dehumanized. In contrast to the rest of the press, Moyers did not fall into this same cowardly trap.

That line "it's nice talking with you" kind of comes across like a computerized voice machine that you hear when you call a telephone company.

Wow, the Clinton's really love the mud. Back-stabbing comments like these make me hope even more that we can sever the hold of the Clinton's on the democratic party FOREVER.

Nice post. This is the Hillary base in a nutshell. Without these "low-information voters", she wouldn't have a chance in the world. Not a chance.

Yes, real actual VOTES should decide this primary, not polls. If we were to let polls decide, than -- among other less-than-democratic consequences -- wouldn't that set-the-stage for other future stalemates as well? I mean, why would candidates drop out of the race in future primaries if they could count on the hope of rising in the polls?
Making changes to party rules in the midst of a heated primary, based on short-sighted rationalizations, is a reckless strategy that will lead to further chaos in the Democratic party.

This morning on MSNBC, Dean Snyder, the pastor at a church regularly attended by the Clintons when they were in DC, discussed his thoughts about Rev Wright. See:

Thanks for posting this. It is a great article to keep on file re: Rev Wright.
Also, on MSNBC this morning, they interviewed Dean Snyder, a pastor at the church the Clintons attended in DC while they were in the White House. Snyder offered the best comments I've heard to date on the Wright controversy. Very thoughtful, eloquent, and religious (in the good sense of the word). I hope someone is able to post a clip on youtube, as Snyder may be one of the best voices (along with Martin Marty) to give a big-picture perspective of Wright's sermons.
