Frank Rich gets it right every week. He should never be missed. He has an 'opinion' column, but he always has links showing where he gets those opinions. Find that on Townhall.

Did you have a better idea? I mean besides spewing meaningless crap. I guess the whack-a-doodles have to come out every now-and-then.

Actually...I also feel a little sorry for him. I don't think HE picked Sarah. I think she was picked for him. The sad part is that he agreed. He is at the end of his life, and that is sad. He is making this last run for something he was arguably gypped out of in 2000. But, he made a deal with the Devil. He did it knowingly. He is putting this country is a very horrible place..maybe under the leadership of a real and true airhead. And that, really PISSES ME OFF!!!!!

Great post, Angry...I agree totally. In a way...I almost feel sorry for mcbush. I think he knows he has destroyed his integrety, and has forever ruined his reputation. His legacy? A mean-spirited, lying, angry, Grandpa Simpson picture in all of our minds. He WILL lose this race, and he will never be able to return to the Senate again.
Here is something to feel pretty good about, though...this time the MSM is actually fact-checking a little bit. Every time they tell us that Carribou Barbie is talking about Ayers, they tell us that they are NOT "palling around". Who the heck says 'palling' anymore?Posted at October 5, 2008 7:34 PM in response to McCain is unethical, unpatriotic, unAmerican and without honor

I live in Pensacola, Fl. It may as well be in Alabama. I work with a very nice lady..in her late 50's...who will not vote for Obama because she 'does not like him". She is solidly in the middle class..her husband has worked for Winn-Dixie for 40 years. And has been cut from Manager to nothing. She says she will vote Mccain because she does not like Obama. I ran into another younger girl, in her 20's, with a young daughter. She will not vote Obama because he is a Muslim. She likes Palin. She has a young daughter. Amazing. These people will never be swayed. And we know why. Ignorance. Plain and simple.
The lady that cuts my hair...she and her husband are voting for Obama because he is on their side. They are closing their eyes to the fact that he is a 'black man'. I told them...'relax...he is also half white'...and that made it ok. Racism rears its head (a Palin quote) everywhere. It is just one more thing that Obama has to overcome. I am amazed that this young man would take on this burden. He is laying his very life on the line. How can anyone say he is not a patriot?Posted at October 5, 2008 1:03 AM in response to An Attempt to Address the "If You Don't Vote For Obama, You're A Racist" Issue...

What a good point about the cell phones!! I had forgotten all about that, because I don't know how to text anyway. I am not a young person, actually. I would be one of those people polled, on my landline. (if I answered it!) Another very good sign is that he raised 66 million dollars in August, and he gained 500,000 new donors!!
They denigrate his 'community organizing'...but I would argue that that is how he is getting all this money and all these new voters. The Community Organizer beat the snot out of Hillary and Bill, he won't have much trouble beating an old man and a neophyte...even a talented one.Posted at September 14, 2008 5:21 PM in response to I'm not panicking, and here's why

Thank god for Rachel...she finally broke the 'spell'...she said the LIAR word!! Now, maybe, the rest of the talking heads will get some backbone and call a liar a liar!! It takes a 'girl' to make those guys look bad!! Let's see just how great Carriboo Barbie does when she has to answer real questions from real people. I can hardly wait!!

John...I can't imagine a worse choice, and for a very risky gain. Remember, Hillary is reviled and hated by the wingers. Having her on the ticket will bring them out in droves. True...she might attract some of the racist voters back into the fold, but I really don't think there are that many out there.
And then...when they win, there she is in the Whitehouse with Bill. Can't stand the thought. She ran a totally crappy campaign, very devisive and hateful. Think Mark Penn.....gag.Posted at August 18, 2008 1:53 PM in response to WHY WE NEED HILLARY AT VP

This is so much better than I ever imagined it could be...he is taking over the whole party!! He is....organizing!!! I so love it, and I feel so energized by all of this!! We have a chance to fix the crap-hole that bush dug.

I agree, Arianna, that fear has been so over-used in the last 8 years. If there were no 9/11... there would be no Iraq occupation, and there would be 4,100 people still with us, and tens of thousands whole and healthy. Not to mention the hundreds of thousands of Iraqis still whole and alive. When I see Barack speak, he has a way of lifting his chin...he has a serenity, composure, he gives me a kind of peace. He has no animosity, no hate, no "stick". He has intelligence, empathy, curiousity, and a seemingly unfailing kindness. He does not seem to have too much ego..though I know he must have a good bit to be able to run for this office. I think his wife and children hold him down to earth. He is a very level person. No highs, no lows. Thank god he is willing to help this country...we need help very badly.
