  • This is one for the surrogates to latch onto. Folks like Ed Rendell or Bill Richardson need to get out in the media and actively say something along the lines of: "It is ironic that McCain is claiming that Obama is running because of some personal ambition when McCain himself has admitted that that is exactly why He decided to run for President. Read his book - its right in there in black and white. Seems like he has a little transferrence problem there. Obama, meanwhile, is running to take Washington back for the millions of people who have been forgotten, ignored or steamrolled by the party of John McCain and George Bush in the last 8 years and make it work for the people."

  • I suspect that it is more likely that the MSM will begin to ignore any response from McCain that focuses on the fact he was a POW, which would be fine too.

  • Good concept but the execution is lacking because the words are too complicated. How about: "Hothead McCain -- More Cowboy Diplomacy." Subtitle: "From the same folks who brought you Iraq." It ties in with McCain as a Hothead (a charge that I suspect the MSM will play with like a shiny object) and with McCain as a "maverick." I know that maverick and cowboy are not the same thing, but they are probably seen as synonyms by much of the american public. Make the "maverick" title a negative.

  • Occasionally I am amused by your posts, but this lil' nugget has to reveal you to be one of the lamest jokers out there. By your definition, you would have stood opposed to our founding fathers and the principles on which our nation was founded (and for which you professed to fight if you are, in fact, a military man). They were the flaming liberals of their day, buddy. Go study some history. It would also stand you in direct opposition to Jesus Christ in his day. Another crazy leftist trying to buck the system. So maybe you might want to rethink your "anyone on the left end of the scale -- however defined -- is bad" theory. Cause it sucks. Bad.

  • Personally, I would like to hear a line of attack on "McCain's secret agenda": make the rich even richer at the expense of everyone else, keep the nation and the government in the pocket and at the mercy of big oil, and rely on Dick Cheney's neo-Con advisors that brought us Iraq to bring us a return to the Cold War. Something like that.

  • OT, I know, but I never really got the whole orange juice smear. After all, coffee is imported, while orange juice comes from the USA(at least sometimes). Which is the more patriotic drink? The answer seems pretty clear.
