Robinson misses the point. It's not the length of the campaign that Clinton is addressing. The complaint is that there will not be enough time before the convention to "unite" if the campaign runs into June. Irrelevant when the campaign began.

Fortunately for Obama, he didn't have to make that vote. If he were already in the Senate, I suspect he would have voted the same way as Hillary. Once he was in the Senate, he voted to continue to fund the war.

Yes, it will be exciting to have a black nominee for President!
It would be even more exciting if he were better qualified and had more defined progressive credentials. But you can't have everything I suppose.

"You cannot judge a whole state by a few uneducated residents. There are uneducated folks in every state."
A few... According to the exit polls, they constituted 70%!Without a college degree equals uneducated?
My experience is that a college degree has a tenuous relationship with knowledge. I know plenty of dumb, dumb college grads.
Embarrassing thread. WV did not change the game. Chill out, O-bots.

It may have been acceptable on a spreadsheet in February but it sure doesn't look good in May to have that number of Democratic voters flipping a big "Eff you" to their presumptive nominee.Really would be nice to keep the margin under twenty.

Obama will be the nominee.
Can we quit talking about Hillary?

There's nothing to be done about it, but I believe he will not defeat McCain unless he has a humdinger of a running mate.
I'm more optimistic than you. Demographics will be a problem. If the black vote decided general elections, Republicans would never get elected. Obama can't lose the non-black vote in November and win.
On the plus side, McCain is horrible and he certainly isn't going to get any help from Bush.

Why won't Obama let blacks on the stage behind him? I don't get that.
