  • As much as I'd like to think the debacle of Iraq or the callousness displayed to Katrina-ravaged New Orleans (Junior on-stage playing the guitar will always burn in my memory), when I talk with Republicans, they always seem to reach back to Terry Schaivo. The fact that the Commander in Chief would rush home from his "brush clearing" to sign a bill looked upon as a horrible invaision of personal rights seems to mske those "Red State" hearts pump blue. It was certainly the first time I detected a movement questioning his judgement. Something that we here have been doing all along.

  • Oh yeah, and the guy above who said Republican women would vote for HRC in droves couldn't be more right.  A perfect time to divide and conquer the RNC.

  • Look, it wasn't me, perhaps I heard Joe Conason on Al Franken's show say it, maybe it was somebody else. But, as the pundit stated:  If she were to run for president in 2008, would Hillary win all the states that Kerry did in 2004?

    Probably yes.

So, that means she needs one more state to win.  Can she win one more state?  Ohio? Florida? Unless she allows herself to be swift-boated (and Bubba wouldn't allow it), I'd have to think she's the Dems best pick.  At least for now.

  • Lieberman, Kerry, Biden, Feingold...all unelectable.

The question becomes: Would you be willing to put aside your petty feelings about HRC (most of the negatives spewed above are just petty BS - including voting for the Iraq war - I'm sorry, what did our last presidential candidate say he voted for, or against, or for?) if she could regain the White Palace, or would you rather sit on the sidelines for another 4 to 8 years while Bush Lite plays the masses.

Not saying that will happen - we got two more years to go.  But, what if it came down to vote HRC or give the Bushies another four?  (Jeb, McCain, etc.)  Or eight?

  • RIGHT!  We need to run more guys like Kerry, Gore, Kemp...hell, we've done so well with them thus far!

  • Further proof that women continually hate other women who attempt to get ahead or do good for people.  Play nice in the sandbox, girlies!
