I agree and don't believe anything either Clinton has to say. I don't think that she's doing anything other than being entirely self-serving. However, that doesn't automatically mean that she's wrong on this one.
Do I think that her supporters sense of aggrievement is irrational or even bizarre? Yes. Does that make it any less real? No.
Am I asking questions and then answering them myself? Yes. Am I happy about it? No. Would I like to stop? Yes.
My dad used to say that 'even a blind squirrel get an acorn every once in a while'. I think Sen. Clinton has an acorn here.

As an Obama supporter that has repeatedly questioned why Hillary Clinton placed her own interests above the good of the party, I also now question if Sen. Obama and those of us that support him are not also allowing our bitterness over the primary campaign to get in the way of what is best for the party.
Of course, you're probably right. Reasonable people can't disagree on this subject. Because if Hillary Clinton said it, then it HAS to be wrong and immediately denounced. I guess I just don't see it that clearly.
Glad to know that you see things so clearly, though, and wish to make your points with juvenile name calling.
By the way, there's nothing to 'fall for'. Hillary is doing what she thinks is best for Hillary. However, that doesn't mean that it's not also best for the party. The two are not ALWAYS mutually exclusive.

Whoops! Sorry for the typo in the title. Obviously, that was meant to be 'Disgraceful'.
Hope that doesn't distract too terribly from the content of the diary.

Good one Clever. When in doubt, you can always dust off the 'media double standard' narrative.
You might as well run with that, because you have nothing else.
Geez . . . I thought the Republican Party was supposed to be the one that was 'tough'. The incessant whining is a bit embarrassing.

That falls squarely into the "some of my best friends are black" defense.
I'm less concerned with who Sweet Lou is married to [or that he feels passionately one way or the other about immigration] then I am about the fact that he consistently uses his national television program to stoke fear of immigrants and raises the volume on the debate in a fashion that promotes xenophobia and makes any compromise on the issue impossible.
Also, even when he's not the one that's consistently rabble-rousing, he's providing a cloak of cover to those that are.
