I suspect that Rep. Heath Shuler (NC-11) is one of Ickes' SDs.

Shuler pretty transparently supports Senator Clinton and even hosted Bill Clinton at his (Shuler's) church last weekend.

Shuler has promised to throw his vote to whomever wins his district --- not his state --- today, and Ickes probably is counting NC-11 as a Clinton win.

The vote in western NC outside of Asheville will be much closer than the statewide NC vote.

Samantha Power was a new name to me, so the dustup sent me to YouTube and elsewhere to find out who we're talking about.

My initial response:

Wow. When does she get to run for president?

My second response:

Wow. What a great VP she would make on an Obama ticket. And wouldn't that rattle the Clinton windows just a bit.

My third and (for the sake of brevity) final response:

Samantha Power is precisely the sort of advisor I would hope to find behind any president. More like her please. Let her debate Mark Penn and let us all watch. Please oh please.
