  • isn't everyone being overly optimistic here?
what about those nasty voting machines controled by the other party? expect them to skew results, no matter how people vote.
it's probably already been decided by some high-tech hacker.
wake up america, it may be too late.

  • to get Hillary's support, Obama could offer her a seat on the Supreme Court!

for those Hil. supporters who say they will support McCain- think of Roe v Wade.
if McCain wins, it will be goodbye to legal abortions in the USA.

for Obama's VP- i suggest Mayor Bloomberg!.

  • how dumb can people be! must one take Hamas at its word- perhaps this is a PSY OPS ploy, and they really want McCain to win, so they say they back Obama (with a wink!) knowing that this will push naive voters to pick McCain.
with McCain as Prez, they will be able to recruit more fanatics.

i think the same tactic was used in the 2004 election when it was claimed that the terrorists wanted Kerry to win.

why take people at their word? look at their motives behind them.

i have not seen any pundit take up this dimension- that Al-Qaeda is using psychological warfare to further their aims. or perhaps the rednecks and the pundits are just too stupid to realize the possibility that our enemies are so clever.

what a whacko world. glad i left USA yrs ago and moved to Europe. here there is no talk of Jesus during election time....

  • it will be difficult for many Dem. voters to get proper IDs in order to vote in some states, due to recent Sub-pream Court decision.

  • what's the point of issuing useless subpoenas? the Dems don't have the guts to enforce them and put these miscreants under oath.
you may recall that neither Cheney nor Bush were put under oath at the ridiculous 9-11 commission hand-holding episode.

  • anyone who says that we should stay in iraq should head down to the military recruitment office and sign up.
sure, the oil men rake in the money from iraqi oil, but for the rest of the USA, it's been a total disaster.

"Operation Iraq Liberation" = O.I.L. spells oil.

bush and cheney (and rice!) all are from the oil industry.

  • too much complaining about Bill Clinton.

don't forget, he's the only Dem. candidate who kept those right-wing religious extremists out of the white house.

don't say he is just another "republican"; think of social issues- abortion, etc.

sure, Clinton was not the ideal prez, but a great deal better than what we have put up with since he left office.

As Gore Vidal put it- better to have oral sex in the oval office than Oral Roberts.

  • what's this stuff? lots of countries allow dual-citizenship. i live in Sweden, and many Americans here have both Swedish & US passports.
this is no way implies anything sinister.

the real problems in USA are caused by people who have only the US passport, such as Cheney, Bush, et al. -they're the ones turning the USA into a rotten-banana republic, and now even the economy is going down the drain....

  • can someone explain how Petraeus' greed caused this man to commit suicide?

there's lots of war profiteering in Iraq (where is Harry Truman when we need him? you may recall that he chaired a Senate committee investigating war profiteering, and that's how he became famous enough to be chosen for FDR's VP), but why should the good Col. kill himself?

there are other courses of action- resign from army; start a blog; write letters to newspapers, etc.
    surely there were other options....

or maybe it was not suicide?
