Obama Already Has Coattails.
So, it’s mid-February, it’s nine months to the general election, and already Barack Obama is showing that he has very real coattails. Yesterday, Donna Edwards, a Maryland lawyer and social activist, won the Democratic primary election for the 4th District...more »

This has been debunked by the Obama campaign. It was just idle speculation that Novak was engaged in. Kinda like the rumor that spread awhile back saying that Elizabeth Edwards did not like Hillary.
There are certain corners of the media that find the idea of feminine drama involving Hillary too tempting to pass up. Robert Novak is most definitely one of those people. He should not be giving any credibility. It's part of the early effort that p marshall is talking about to demonize Michelle, like the right loves to do.
Don't fall for it. You're better than that.

You know, normally I'd rather poke my eyes out than read Hillaryis44, but the days after NC and Indiana I was curious to see their take on it.
It was truly scary. There's so much toxicity over there that it's breathtaking. I seriously can't believe anyone over there is a Democrat. They started off the night thinking they had a real shot at NC and IN was in the bag, and it went downhill from there.
I feel for anyone who puts time and effort into a candidate and is heartbroken when they lose. I get that. But that much hate can't be healthy. It was like a HotAir thread in there. If the people that hang there are real Clinton supporters and not GOP sockpuppet trolls, they seriously need to disengage from the process for awhile to regain some perspective.
But that thread over there is very funny.

I'll be honest. Heather Wilson is a nasty political infighter. As confident as I am that the state will move further blue this fall, I'd rather have Ms. Wilson completely out of the picture. That other guy might be more "conservative", but Heather Wilson is one of those Bushies with no morals or scruples of any kind who needs to kept far away from a position of power like the Senate.

I agree with this. Be positive, but firm.
Hillary for Senate! Why mess with a good thing!

Thanks for taking the time to bring this to us. I've given up on the cable network horserace coverage of this thing.

I actually hope she can stick it out for a bit, provided she calls off the dogs in trying to make Obama look unelectable. There's a lot to be said for this process continuing through to June. Mostly organizing a battle tested GOTV effort in Oregon and perhaps North Dakota, introducing Obama to more states before the general election, and that we're effectively starving McCain for airtime.

To me, this raises the interesting question of whether Indiana still matters or not. I'm guessing it does, but just barely.

Good news for those Clinton supporters. MSNBC just made the call in her favor.
