  • The Power of Hillary's Hunger for Power

I felt a little sorry for her here, just recognizing the level of exhaustion and passion she must have, when she responded to how she stays "so upbeat and wonderful" (bolds mine) "It's not easy, and I couldn't do it...more »

It's too late Scottie. Years from now, when you get there, say hello to Jerry Falwell, you dirtbag.

  • There's power hungry, which you need to be, to even aspire to be a president.

Then there's power hungry on the level that you throw your party under the bus if you don't get your way.

Thankfully, in Obama's case, he didn't learn to behave that way in Heaven.

  • I don't hate Hillary.

I do think this was a dumb move on her part, particularly because her praise is directed at the current Republican nominee. Should she lose the nomination, the Republicans will regurgitate this from then to November.

Obama's reference to Reagan referred to how Reagan changed 'the trajectory of America' - which he did - but did not praise Reagan's policy. Regardless of how you took his remarks, Reagan is not running for president this time around.

  • Jebus. I've been an Obama fan for awhile, but always thought either he or Hillary would be a fine nominee/president. I always admired her for her guts and smarts. However, the more I watch the level to which the Clintons will stoop to get this nomination, the more disgusted I become.

  • I think you have to stagger it a bit, but the stagger order should rotate - otherwise those running won't campaign in the small states at all. Maybe we divide the states into groups of 4 or 5, and have the groups vote every couple weeks - then the next round, the group that voted first would vote last. I guess we'd have to combine states with others of the same relative size so they would have the opportunity to participate - ie can't lump NH with CA, or NH will never see another candidate...of note, the teevee just said that this is the first time presidential candidates have actually campaigned in Wyoming in recent history.....that wouldn't be so with some rotation.

I'm in Florida, a big state, so it's not that I'm worried me me me - I just think everyone should have the opportunity to hear from the candidates themselves.
