So you agree. You should put a giant disclaimer on anything you type in. Or else some might take for an honest disinterested writer.

  • I checked hundt's bio and no where does it say he is a major bundler for obama:

    Reed Hundt
    Employer: Intel Group/Blackstone Group

    State: MD

Status for 2008: Bundler for Barack Obama, raised at least $50,000.00
    http://www.whitehouseforsale.org/bundler.cfm?Bundler=13031

Seems like maybe that should be mentioned on top of every hundt post for clarity.

  • "Can you provide some links for your narrative?"

Yes. Along with the link whskyjack provided here is a post with a long list of links:
FACT CHECK: Obama, His Contributor Rezko, the Slum Landlord Business

Here is link to the Sun Jan 20, 2008 front page of the Chicago Tribune. obama's name surfaces as "political candidate" in rezko case. obama as recently os the jan 19 2008 donated $40,000 more of his contributions from rezko donors.

Can you provide links for your narrative? The obama was a "community organizing" narrative? I have looked but can not find any concrete evidence obama has a proven track as a community organizer. It's something he is using on his presidential resume so there should something somewhere pointing to factual trail of achievements.

  • "Although they both became lawyers, Clinton wrote a senior thesis about community organizing; Obama practiced it."

Examples of obama practicing “community organizing” please. We already know the poor little rich kid that went to Occidental then Harvard didn’t really have much to do with the corps the law firm he worked in the early 90s represented. Ya know the ones I mean? The low income housing builders. The ones that built slums then turned off the heat in the winter. Yeah those. We already know obama didn’t have much to do with those same low income housing builders when obama was a state senator. Even though 11 of them were in his district and constituents were begging for help. So please forgive my ignorance and point to all the “community organizing.”

  • Amazing.

"So far, there's been three contests, Obama winning one by a relatively large margin, and Clinton winning the other two by smaller margins. The delegate count is basically even."

So far there have been 3 contests and obama lost 2. You can pretend record numbers are turning out for obama but facts are stubborn things.

"Why is it that Clinton and her supporters can't deal with facts honestly?"

And what is with obamavangelists throwing around insults? Try this: Grow Up

  • Comedian reed hundt:
"Obama, meanwhile, has brought new voters into the Democratic Party, and especially connected electrically to younger voters."

I guess obama's problem would be the voters keep voting for Hillary. Maybe he should try bring out voters that will vote for him?

    More from comedian reed hundt:
"To this end, she has employed Bill Clinton as her Attacker-in-Chief so as to create the highly tendentious impression that Obama is soft on women's issues and a johnny-come-lately or even an ambivalent supporter of various liberal causes, such as Social Security and universal health care."

Oh that's a good one. Bill Clinton is the reason obama voted present on tough abortion votes. Bill Clinton is the reason obama voted present as a state senator and skiped tough US senate votes. Bill Clinton is the reason obama never met an Iraq war funding bill [except one since he started his run] he wouldn't vote for. reed you're killing me... Stop it.

If obama sinks it's obama's fault. The "liberal media" could not possible do any more to help him. So that comes out of the equation. What's left is obama. So far he doesn't add up for the voters.

How about this: Until proven otherwise obama is a light weight. He 'beat' alan keyes for his senate seat. If he wants to run with the The Big Dogs he has to prove he can keep up.

  • "Let the People Vote"

Yeah, I was one of those many thousands of unsubscribers.

And ya know, nader did some good things. He just didn't know when to walk away.

    Incident at Paris Las Vegas

“The lady told all of us: Nobody can go to the caucus unless you’re voting for Obama,” Angers said. “They have no right to do what they did. This is America. You should be able to vote for who you feel like. It doesn’t matter who the union is endorsing. They can try to persuade us but it doesn’t mean people have to vote for them.”

But Antuna tells a different story. She said she was filling out a voter registration form when the union reps approached her about Obama. When she told them she wasn’t sure about caucusing for him, one rep took her registration form, indeed telling her that she couldn’t participate Saturday if she wasn’t supporting Obama.

At that point, Antuna said, Angers and DeFalco, who were sitting at a neighboring table, engaged the union rep in a heated discussion. Antuna said she sat silent while both sides swapped words. She doesn’t recall the bit about the pledge cards.

  • "and received a 100 percent rating from the Illinois Planned Parenthood Council for his support of abortion rights, family planning services and health insurance coverage for female contraceptives."

    A new kind of audacity:

"He came to me and said: 'My members are being attacked. We need to figure out a way to protect members and to protect women,'" said Sutherland in recounting her conversation with Obama. "A 'present' vote was hard to pigeonhole which is exactly what Obama wanted."

"What it did," she continued, "was give cover to moderate Democrats who wanted to vote with us but were afraid to do so" because of how their votes would be used against them electorally. "A 'present' vote would protect them. Your senator voted 'present.' Most of the electorate is not going to know what that means."
    http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalradar/2007/07/obama-abortion-.html

    I like this part:
"A 'present' vote was hard to pigeonhole which is exactly what Obama wanted."... "What it did," she continued, "was give cover to moderate Democrats who wanted to vote with us but were afraid to do so"

That's just the kinda guy we need.

And I guess since Hundt is very concerned about what he calls misleading information he'll have to take another look and see just who was misleading. Hmmmm...
