Ive been saying for awhile now and yesterday we all saw what happened in California, Illegal immigration and border security win elections. Amnesty or guest worker programs with no real security on our borders lose elections. Seperate these issues and make border security the first issue and ya have both poor working class voters and disgruntled conservatives agreeing with the candidate. The more my liberal freinds harp on the rights of illegal aliens the less likely democrates will get our votes. Theres an abundance of poor sick americans who get little or no attention from the right or left. Many whove worked hard all their lives and paid into a system that now ignores them in their time of need, meanwhile we hear about S.S. benefits to illegals whove been using SS numbers stolen from americans. Many of us have given up on both parties, why bother voting for the lesser of two evils, the other day I heard someone say Left-Wing/Right-Wing its all the same bird and their both giving it to us. Im beginning to see the truth of this statement. If dems want to win we need to put americans first in everything, secure our borders and hold both the illegal alien and the employer using them responsible, expensive severe fines for employers and deportation for illegals. It wins elections.

I hate actually defending this miserable excuse of a human but come on. I keep hearing the left talk about his preferincial treatment, how he gets treated differently than ordinary folks in relation to his drug use and charges. I despise everything about this man, but when you look at ordinary first time offenders and sentances passed out, its hard to not recognise that his special treatment was a result of having to pay great sums of money just to get treated like any ordinary person with a court appointed lawyer! Today we see another Kennedy crash, and no matter what actually caused the crash it was mishandled from the beginning no breath or blood tests, a ride home, and well denying any personal guilt he checks into the mayo clinic. Its just another mystery for the republicans to slam the dems with till the end of time. We will never know for sure what happened. To many of us, its alot more important that all of our elected officials on both sides be held responsible for their actions and words.

Sounds sorta anti-american to me, I happen to enjoy much of the hispanic culture, my wife and I choose to live in a predominantly hispanic community. Its also a very rural community whose lifeline is agriculture, and under the bush regime weve watched as family farms fall like dominoes. Meanwhile the people who dont seem affected are hispanic primarily. Both legal and illegal, this morning i watched as one of my neighbors 16 yr. old drove off in a new high performance mustang. I find this curious as no adult or child actually has a job in their family anymore. Due to a lack of farm work in the area. Its a fine bright red car, whistles and bells galore. Even has a 1000watt stereo, and gets about 14mpg.No they dont sell drugs nor are they involved in other criminal enterprises, it seems that a few months ago that dad decided to get a free ride, he took a handfull of prescription drugs then called 911, when he returned from the hospital a few days later it was with not only money given him by our government but assurances that all of his families needs would be provided. They now have everything paid for with tax dollars, food,heating/AC, even money for transportation. Ive no idea what he told the doctors other than he just couldn't stand not being able to provide for his family, irregardless this is wrong. No other group in this country can get this wonderful treatment by our government nor should they but the mexican peoples here seem to be privledged. Now the kicker,, my neighbor doesn't agree with this boycott or all the demands illegals are making,when I asked him why he responded with concern that if they get what they want he might lose some of his. This protest may cause america to look at our policies in regards to the giveaway programs and decide they are to liberal. WOW!!!!! I had no response it completely took me off guard and as Iam a pacifist i just walked away but in honesty I wanted to react in a whole different way. I fear if we dont wake up soon there will be a backlash against the hispanics living here and its a battle that may finish destroying our country. When the rules are changed or ignored for any one group we all lose.

Legal immigration, the excitement at becoming an american citizen, learning the english language. I believe these to be important and neccesary to our success as a nation. However today they appear to mean little to either conservatives or liberals, they certainly mean nothing to most of society. In texas we find them hiring illegals to teach in the public schools, to teach i might add in spanish. As a nation we allow our government to treat illegals with free food, free healthcare, hey if they have a baby here it becomes a citizen and mom gets to stay too! Of course we will help them with any and everything, its a giveaway, services designed to give aid to american citizens is wasted on people who dont want to play the game and do things legally. In our society if you choose to do something that breaks the law you are a criminal period! Look we give Mexico about 20billion a year in addition to lucrative tequila trade deals . We actually guarentee that the U.S. will buy at levels that go way beyond our annual import amounts. I think its time to recognise the country of Mexico for what it has become, a leech on the american taxpayers back. If our government won't do something about the border security with Mexico then why trust them with any of our countries security needs? I am a white man so its assumed that Im being racist in my disgust for whats happening, but Im sick of hearing terms like Mexican-American, African-American, Italian-American etc,,, If you are here legally and a citizen then you are an American! If your here illegally then you are not only a criminal but also a foreign invader and its time we demand our government begin treating those here illegally and those sneaking across our borders as threats to america. We dont need a fence on the border we need our national guard working with the border patrol to stop this problem.

Ive been wondering how the RNC manages to convince so many that their guy Bush is doing such a great job? In addition to encoraging illegal immigration with his policies on border security, he has allowed millions of containers thru our seaports with little or no inspection. As well as giving Communist China to take over the manufacturing the most advanced and high tech weapons our military uses. Not to mention encoraging and actually believing that sending so many of our manufacturing and technical companies to move their production to places like India and Communist China. Now hes selling our seaports to the arabs, come on are conservatives so blind to what this has done to our national security? Sure his tax cuts sound great especially if you make more than a million dollars a year, these folks get most of the benefits to his fiscal irresponsibility. We are at war granted bush decided to start this war and its hard to say he did'nt mislead or lie about things in order to invade Iraq. But tax cuts to the wealthiest citizens in wartime is idiotic. Conservatives have always boasted of their belief in fiscal responsibility yet when Bush declares " Were not out of money Ive still got checks in my checkbook" they dont find it a little strange. Hes a failure as president, his policies have done so much more harm to our country than BinLaden ever could and still they go along with anything he wants. He was busy pretending to be a country music star well people were dieing in Louisiana and dont forget that Ms. Rice needed to stop in Atlanta and pick up some new shoes before going on to New Orleans, 7000 dollars worth of italian designer shoes. I guess she wanted to look her best for the hurricane ravaged citizens of the gulf coast. This whole administration is a failure for america, their policies and the rubberstamp approval of anything they want by a congress completely controlled by the republican party is in my opinion the biggest threat we live with. As for lowering the bar for articles of impeachment , well if you dont believe that theres usually fire along with the smoke then ya probably wouldnt ever find anything that could reach the level it seems that conservative leadership has placed it. All i can believe is that either conservatives have lost their sense of right from wrong, or that perhaps the RNC has developed a method of getting LSD into whatever they are drinkin. This president campaigned on some pretty important stuff, amongst those was his desire to unite all americans and bring dignity back to the whitehouse. Unfortunatly his actions just dont fit in with his words, in fact they dont even come close. He proclaims his patriotism and regard for human life, he tells us of his righteousness and how he talks to God. Yet when you look at his record it is hard to understand how he managed to not end up in the brig. Yes the pentagon investigated the forged papers that CBS reported on and yes they were found to have been forged, but the rest of their report went on to say that the information these forged documents contained was essentially accurate. In bushs own words he said he didnot want to go to veitnam but he didnt want to fire off a shotgun and ruin his hearing either. So getting daddy to help him get into the reserves was the best for everyone concerned. The so-called liberal media doesnt say much about that. Cheney took 5 deferments to keep from serving, Rumsfeld also found and used several deferments, its really a stretch to call these men patriotic or brave leaders. They most certainly dont have any problem sending others to fight and die, and now the same men are talking with bravado about Iran and Syria ? When does the insanity stop, when will conservatives begin to wonder about all the innaccuracies in their statements? Bill Clinton either lied outright to the american people about his diddy with Monica or hes the dumbest person on the planet! Sex is Sex its not really a dificult judgement to make, but it did'nt cause a war and the lives of so many innocents. Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld lied and started a war needlessly. All of the evidence points to it and if they did'nt stonewall the investigation into how all the intelligence was used we would have answers to everything surrounding the invasion of Iraq. While were at it lets take a look at what was and was'nt known prior to 9/11 ?  Now about bush and his righteousnes and christian beliefs, just look at the men who support him and proclaim his deep faith, Pat Robertson a man of god who calls for murdering another countries leader and the takes it back and apologizes but only after he first blames the media for misquoting him. Well i was watching the day he called for murdering Chavez and he was'nt misquoted . But he has yet to apoligize for accusing the media of lying. That would be to much like accepting responsibility for his own words. How about James Dobson, another millionaire preacher who is constantly spewing venom at anyone that disagrees with him or his president. If these were trully men of God it seems they would be more interested in truth and accountability, not so concerned with which political party was in charge. They easily proclaim their pro-life beliefs yet they dont find the needless deaths of so many in Iraq in opposition to their pro-life beliefs, nor do they find the death penalty a problem. When in this country we've seen more than 100 people released from deathrow as a result of DNA proving their innocence. Its crazy not to realise that we have probably killed many innocent people in the past and thats something we cannot give back or undo. When life without parole is available and leaves the door open to fixing it if we discover someones innocence then how can someone who is pro-life justify the death penalty. These are evil men they practice their brand of righteousness and if they say our president is a righteous man then i for one dont think much of him or them. Everything about being a christian is to try and be like Jesus, he was trully nonviolent . He taught love and cared for the poor and sick, he was all about forgiveness and helping others. I just dont see where any of these ideals fit in with the Bush administration and have a real problem understanding how so many otherwise intelligent rational people keep refusing to wonder if theres not even a little bit of truth in all the questionable things this administration says and does. Why does the truth seem so different than the facts in this administration? First we had WMDs and mushroom clouds over american cities, now its about getting rid of saddam. The president sends Colin Powell to the U.N. with aluminum tubes, but he already had the report stating they were useless for enriching uranium. How about no child left behind except he never fully funded it. This man says he cares about the poor, the elderly, he even cares about the sick. But at every chance he cuts funding to help these people. He says hes for fiscal responsibilitie and open government but runs his whitehouse with none of these principals. When it became obvious that the folks on the gulf coast had been hung out to dry he blames Mr. Brown, its always someone elses fault never his. If you go look at the hurricane ravaged coast you will see that they are still suffering and how little is really being done to help them. After 9/11 Bush assured the nation he was going to fix the problems that allowed it to happen, mostly this was aproblem with communication, and now 4 years later we hear that communication was the problem with his federal response to a disaster. This man seems able to change the truth to make it fit his views at will and his followers just keep on being blinded to it. Ask yourself why is it thst every single person who advised him about invading Iraq, and actually ended up being right was either fired or forced to retire, well everyone who was wrong got promoted? This president lives in his own reality it has nothing to do with truth, if hes making security of our country a priority then why would he open the border with Canada completely, its the only border where we've actually caught people sneaking into the U.S. with weapons and explosives? When Bill Clinton was president we had independant investigations into everything. We were constantly being told of the liberal biased media, yet i cant remember the press taking it easy on Clinton. At what point do intelligent concervatives begin to ask themselves if maybe there is substance to what others are saying about this administration? Im neither a conservative or a liberal, i tend to have different ideas about different issues. I believe the man is more important than the party. The only way for this country to survive and be healed is to stop playing with the truth and begin to demand it from our leaders on both sides. It took democrates almost 40 years to reach the level of corruption that the Bush whitehouse seems to have reached in only 5. We must have balance in the government and accountability, if the president says the buck stops here then he has to be man enough to stand up and accept responsibility when things are'nt right. In the case of the Bush administration i not only believe impeachment proceedings are going to be the solution, after we get the whole truth from our leaders but we will probably need to offer the president and his staff over to international court for war crimes against humanity. In this way we might even be able to once again have the trust of the rest of the world. Its sad that as a nation we've come to this place but we have leadership without wisdom and thats never good for anyone. Thanks for reading and thanks Joe for responding.  Personally i find it bizzare that so many in this country cannot even concieve of Bush and his administration being decietful or dishonest. First off it seems that if he trully supports these ideals then maybe he would have gone to President Aristide and the Haitian peoples defense when the communist guerillas began killing all who stood in their way. But if he had it would have shown us he also cared about humanity as a whole. Since theres no oil in Haiti, theres not even bananas or any other export thanks to U.S.corporate involvement over the last 75 years. The people of Haiti are now left with even less than before Aristide. Maybe he was'nt the best president but he was freely elected and our government declared that election fair. Or maybe if the haitian people began sneaking thru our border with mexico then they could become important to corporate concerns as cheap disposable labor. Now he doesnt want to recognise the Palestinian elections, maybe it would be easier for him if they just let him and cheney rule the world. Look this man [ i use this term lightly cuz theres no reason to believe he even understands the meaning of manhood] anyway he lies thats what he does, about everthing and his lies are driving this country towards civil war or worse the last world war ever. His true believers talk about good stuff, they choose life unless its an american citizen who's already been born. They talk about ethical behaviour, honesty, the american dream for all citizens yet none of his actions support any of these ideals. He cares not for the poor black or white. On the other hand he does seem to care alot about improving the lives of millions of illegal hispanics in the U.S.A. even if it means taking food and healthcare away from actual citizens of this once great nation. He lies thats his way and to not recognise this man as a liar is just fooling yourself, this man and his administration are probably the most dangerous threat to america. It apparently took binladen and his bunch of crazies 9 years to plan and train a small group to crash airplanes, i dont know about anyone else but that just doesnt really scare me much, how intelligent do you have to be to push a steering mechanism down???  IMPEACH BUSH, its the only real hope we have.
