  • : G. Florence Scott finds picture on this page of Mount Saint Helen's throat, a reactivated volcano in the Pacific NW, seems a fitting image to represent G. Florence during this phase of her life. Her experiences include, public school teaching, active union member, leader, and leadership trainer. She believes in the philosphy of "Do your best; let others do theirs." Her interest in whistleblowers (federal and/or industry) stems from experiences in the education field, and that of family members and friends who became federal or contracting industry whistleblowers by standing up, reporting and confronting wrongdoing where and when they found it. In other words, ethically doing the job they were hired to do and then being pounded for it. She has taken on the mission of helping and supporting whistleblowers during this overly corrupt whistleblower-creating environment we are experiencing in America, and hopes Americans will become more aware,(less passive), and demand that our government clean house! She is pleased to report there is some evidence that is starting to happen and looks forward to seeing more progress.

  • I do not know specifically about that problem, although all of that needs to be resolved as well. I met a pilot recently who was employed by the division of Boeing that was supplying the planes, pilots and flying the rendition missions. He was less than enthusiastic about his participation and quit his job. He is now flying for someone else doing less obnxious things.

But it is my opinion based on information I've seen, there is enough proof of other crimes and fraud, even beyond Mr. Eastman's whistleblowing activities, to keep ethical investigators and prosecutors busy for quite awhile. (The majority of these are not in public view, and it appears each week that passes our government, continues to move things back behind the "National Security Screen" to try to avoid exposure of the crimes, and the collusion with certain highly placed government officials.) One problem is there are open criminal cases languishing, while some coopted types try to stall and make them go away in the oversight criminal investigative authorities. (Choose your three or four letter acronym, most are involved.) Then there are the problems we've seen in the Justice Department, such as coopted or corrupted federal prosecutors, or those who want to do their job but are prevented from doing so, or if they won't do as their told, are fired summarily.

We must all continue to research and apply pressure any way we can. More people who know things specifically need to stand up.

  • I like this very much....as fiction. Perhaps you should write it and spread it about all over the net so they won't dare do it. They will have to think of something else.

    There is soooo much corruption.

  • I was very interested in the statements that came out in the story regarding McCain's staff and their efforts to protect him from himself, by acting to stop the lobbyist from contacting him, and I wonder how far his "handlers" will go to "protect" him and protect their (oops, I mean his) ambitions.

I am told by more than one person who has contacted McCain's office about corruption and illegal activities within the government defense contracting arena that McCain's defense aid made a dandy (and not very respectful) roadblock to their getting any help and assistance. One can only wonder if McCain ever even heard about the cases and circumstances these federal and industry employees were trying to bring to his attention. One could surmise that his handlers would be most interested in keeping him out of another conflict with the powerful Boeing company, because of his Presidental aspirations, after all the fall out from the previous infamous "tanker deal."

  • It's steeped itself into the strongest brew of fraud, collusion and corruption we've experienced. And it is threaded out everywhere in government and industry, including all of those agencies that are supposed to be oversight, and law enforcement, as well as the highest levels of the Pentagon.

  • Ann Coulter..."lovely?" For the love of God, or Allah, or whator whomever your choice is. If the eyes are a portal into the soul, and the words are music into the heart, I think some charges are warrented. Personally, I think Ann should go away and think about things for a good long while...by herself.

  • Some of the same block headed, or wrong thinking stuff that is going on in other agencies. It's my way or the highway, I/we can do whatever I/we want; how dare you question me or criticize me.

    It is why:

    1. We have so many whistleblowers

    2. So many concerned employees (labeled whistleblowers) who try to bring wrongdoing to light get drug through a knothole backwards and watch their lives and careers disintegrate.

    3. It is so convoluted and complicated. It is a network of thieves and liars who are creating a growing web of deceit through corrupt relationships including use of a myriad of revolving doors and are now affecting even the highest levels within justice and criminal agencies, preventing the ethical employees therein from doing their jobs. And if those ethical employees try, in spite of all the "encouragment" to look the other way and keep their eyes down and mouth shut, they end up like the folks in #'s 1 and 2 in this list.
