  • Does anyone know the number of urls you can place in a comment? I had a very non-controversial comment held for review in a thread about energy. Someone was trying to remember where they had read on another thread about a company that was using fast growing algae from which oil could be produced in large quantities. I thought they were refering to a comment I had made on another post. I linked to the TPM post, the PBS site to the transcript of the segment they did, the homepage of the start-up company, and a new article about Chevron now investing heavily in this venture capital enterprise.   • I still have my Shirley Chisholm campaign button that I wear on election night every four years in tribute. If we're talking all women, I sure would have liked to have seen Ann Richards in a presidential race. Now that would have been fun.

  • Same from Indiana. Obama didn't win, but at least we battled to what could only be considered a tie, less than 1%. And even more amazing is this scarlet state is still a tie in polls with McCain.

  • I did see a report on this on MSM, but it wasn't being touted as a major development. I think this goes to a complacency of yet another Bush-Cheney power grab and their disregard for the Constitution. My question is, what is Bush going to do if the Iraqis don't cave, withdraw our troops? Please throw us into that quandry.
