My take on Edwards was always, "I like everything he's saying but I don't believe a word of it."
The netroots really have egg on their faces here--not the best judge of character, are they? It's pathetic to see how easily they were taken in by Edwards' words when Obama was always obviously the honorable man and true progressive.

A long while back, around Iowa victory time, Tony Blankley on Left, Right and Center said the starting point for going after Obama was his church. They had this cooking up for a long time...I'm surprised it took as long as it did to come out.
