  • Its not so much that voters are stupid- is that politicians and the media have made them ignorant.

If you do talk to working people about an intelligent energy policy they will listen and they do get it.

The people who often refuse to listen are the better off, SUV driving political donors - they will not listen on energy.

By the the way the gas tax should never be described as tax since in reality a massive tax (accompanied by reduced taxes elsewhere)would drive down the price of the raw material in which case taxpayers would be saving money.

A lack of a proper gas tax has cost US consumers trillions of dollars, Wars etc. Lack of a massive gas gas tax is perhaps the stupidest policy since stupid policies created te great depression.

  • I believe that If Obama can get a pledeged delegate lead by May 20th then this is over.

Waiting till June would be embarrassing and create unstability and danger for two weeks.

All he needs is 134 delegates. Thus his minimum requirement in the contests up to May 20 are as follows.

    Guam 2
    Indiana 30
    NC 55
    West Virginia 10
    Kentucky 18
    Oregon 20

Now please explain to me how he could do worse than these numbers.

  • 400 voters?
This is just silly - I find polls with 600 insulting enough - you need a 1000.

  • Was this a simple mistake?

This is an easy one - if they were targeting Urban areas with AA's rather than Rural low income whites then you know beyond any doubt that they are lyers.

Lying - the trademark of the Hillary Campaign. Like Hope except the total opposite.

I will apologise if some can demonstrate that the calls were random or aimed equally at Hillary profile voters (who happen by shear co incidence to hang out in Mccain/Huckabee districts)

  • To the person who made those moronic comments about Obama not being at his Church at Easter.

You are a moron for so many reasons

    a) Obama is in the Carribbean.
    b) If he had gone - you would have slammed him.
c/zzz) you are a mental midget

  • You really are a silly person. Sugeesting Obama is supporting homopbobia is quite libellous, and absurd

He has many surrogates and he is not responsible for every action. Virtually every one holds some type of poitically incorrect view.

Want to know mine? I think Americans are dopes.
Want to know why? A) 50,000,000 voted Bush and B)53% believe that every word in Genesis is literally correct C) People still adfvocate for Hillary even though they are helpnig Mccain by so doing.

    Silly people.

  • Delusional Billarybots part 2.
Does any one really believe that the party elders like Pelosi, Dean, Gore and Reid - really want the Clintons taking over the party. They are just politely biding their time and will take her out when the Maths get sillier.

At this point a vote for Hillary is a vote for Mccain. Only people who can not play chess can not see this - in the meantime these suckers just keep singing to Rush Limbaughs little tune. No wonder they hao much contempt for Democrats.

  • Still so many delusional Billary Bots.
She has less pledged today than March 1.
    a) He won Texas.
    b) He's picked up 4 in California (8 delegate swing)
    c) He's picked up about 50 supers since Super Tues, she's down 1.

  • The Hillary Campaign by using that photo and not immediately distancing itself, is proof of Rascism amongst other horrid things.

Since the campaigns legitimate task is to drive down Obama support they clearly saw the photo as a way to achieving that goal.

So you now know how the view that photo.

    End of story.

Posted at February 25, 2008 1:23 PM in response to Are Clinton's Racists and Divisive? It Appears So.

  • Some posters here are pretty thick.
Comments like "So what is wrong with the photo - he should be proud" etc.

This is the point (and really someone with a mental age of 5 should be able to get it) - The Hillary campaign put out this photo (and it did put out this photo)because they believed that it would make Obama look bad. Why else??????

By putting out this photo and playing to the lowest common denominator- this strategy encourages rascism and religious intolerance. It is thus rascist - amongst other things.

It is irrelevant as to whether this is a muslim garb or not - it looks foreign - simple as that. It is meant to be a subliminal message. It is designed to appeal to the ignorant and intolerant. We like to this of these people as the Rove base - that do not belong in the Democratic party.

This is pure rascism - the Hillary campaign had its chance to distance itself and demurred - now it is too late. Hillary campaign is disgusting and Hillary supporters who try and rationalise simply reveal a total lack of objectivity bordering on incredible ignorance. The are not far removed from the Rove base.
