  • So, their health is more important to them than their "ties" to US...and I don't blame them...I'd do the same thing too.

And besides, they (and Japan) are tired of US GI's raping thier young ladies!!!

  • It's true that Obama has a veeeeeeeeeeeeeery thin resume and because of this you cannot know what policies he will implement and this makes him "kinda" dangerous. It's normal and logical to have reservations, what I find not normal is the horde of blind followers he has who can't even bring themselves to diagree with him on anything, including FISA.
Obama has "broken" his word like 4 times since he got the nomination (yes, I know the brain-less followers will send tons of mails to point out that McCain has too).
This can be attributed to the fact that he just takes advice from a lot of "advisers" and ends triangulating like Bill Clinton did. And it's worse for Obama, cos he has no policy experience so he's 100% dependent on the so-called advisers.

  • Fran, Obama can be inspiring...I've watched his 2004 DNC and his SC primary victory speeches numerous times and I'm still awed...that aside, he just needs to come straight and be open and inclusive.
Just yesterday, he made a pronouncement that "national security trumps suing phone companies"...that sounds a lot like Bush...he is desperately trying to woo republicans...I'm pretty sure he would have lost a bunch of votes had he made that pronouncement in January...classic washington playbook - "promise now, screw them later".

  • Why do most people think it's necessary for the vp nominee to have miltary background? McCain is a hack and what Obama really needs is someone with executive expperience. Someone who's good with policy formulation and implementation...like governor Henry or Freudenthal.

  • Yes, he is "electrifying"...I never disputed that. But then, I also thought you'd be more intelligent and do some research yourself.

If you follow the news, you will know that Schweitzer was leaning Hillary, although he never endorsed because of MT rules. He is also a "poster boy" for coal (which has been well documented) - even if you take the time to listen to his speeches, you'll know that.
And finally, he really tore into Obama's health care plan on ABC a while back.

Before you reply , try a little research rather than come back to insult the writer.
