  • You might also mention the fact that Barack Obama only made one visit to West Virginia. He is busy trying to run his General election campaign against John McCain.

Hillary's refusal to face facts -- that she's lost, has caused Obama and the Democratic Party precious time.

  • If McCain’s campaign claims that he wasn’t receiving enough support to be viable, and that he told his coordinators to ask folks to vote for Huckabee --- don’t swallow this nonsense.

John McCain has been in the Senate for many years. He ran for President in 2000. He’s very well known. West Virginia simply didn’t like John McCain and/or his policies.

  • If you don't call the 'F' word foul then I'm wasting my time talking to you.

And why did he have a RIGHT to act like a spoil brat?

  • The Fall campaign won't be about gas prices. By the time Sept rolls around those $3.75-4.20 gas prices will have dropped by $.50 at least.

This rise in gas prices over the past 7 years was to play CATCH UP.

The oil companies, taking advantage of having two oil men and a GOP Congress, have slowly but surely raised the price of gas a few cents each year. During the summers they would raise them to an extreme amount, then in the fall drop them by half the SUMMER INCREASE -- Americans end up thinking, "WOW, a big discount".

They get us USE to the high prices so that when they drop by a few pennies, we're all thrilled.

Now that Bush and the GOP are LEAVING, they oil companies are making one last pitch. We'll end up with prices ranging between $3-3.35 per gallon by Nov. election day.

    All PRE-planned.

By the way...the economy will be improving by then too.

Guess what ISSUE will be in the limelight? SECURITY -- again (don't forget our UPDATE for the General in Sept on Iraq -- troops will be coming home - at least to the point we had in Jan 2007).

  • I'M SORRY -- I COPY/PASTED THIS LIST WITHOUT THE ARTICLE FROM OBAMA'S SITE. HERE IS THE ARTICLE ITSELF - IT INCLUDES OTHERS:

Days after Barack Obama's decisive win in North Carolina and a tight finish in Indiana, leaders across the Mountain State announced their endorsement of Barack Obama as the best person to unify and lead our country.

Today West Virginia state senators, delegates, sheriffs and Democratic party chairs joined Senator Jay Rockefeller and the state's only member of Congress to endorse, Nick Rahall, in supporting Barack Obama. Obama has also received the endorsement of West Virginia State Auditor Glen Gainer III.

"I have chosen to endorse Barack Obama because he has inspired our nation and will unify the country," said West Virginia State Senator Jeffrey Kessler (D-Marshall). "We need a leader who will finally deliver on the challenges facing our nation, including affordable health care for all, quality education and restoring our nation's standing in the world. That leader is Barack Obama."

"Barack Obama understands the needs of West Virginians," said Delegate John Doyle. "He has a solid plan to revitalize our nation's economy and as a member of the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee, he has been a strong advocate for our nation's veterans."

  • Lieberman needs to immediately be REMOVED from any leadership roll in Congress. He is no longer a Democrat supporter.

Posted at May 12, 2008 9:31 AM in response to Lieberman: Obama's Alleged Endorsement By Hamas Shows "Difference" With McCain

  • While it's been assumed for months that he would lose W. Virginia, it sure would be nice if those voters could face facts that Obama has won the Democratic Party's nomination and decide to help propell him to the White House by making that loss less of a difference.

It might also help when Obama makes his appearance today. Hope so.

Democrats must unite to beat McCain. The time for bickering is over.

Too bad Hillary can't accept that fact.

  • The media needs to start treating Hillary like they did Huckabee and Romney at the end of their campaign runs. IGNORE THEM

This constant paying attention to her now that Obama has gotten more delegates, both in elected and super (ABC), the popular vote and 32 (almost 33 lacking 1 pct in Indiana) out of 47 States.

Why are they even following her anymore? It's over. They treat her as though she a front runner and TIED or something. SHES NOT!
