  • There's one other thing I haven't seen mentioned about Palin's sneering condescension towards community organizers. With the "Christian" right's insistence on funding religious institutions with taxpayers' dollars (e.g. "faith-based intitiatives"), who and what do they think they're subsidizing? Apparently, they don't realize how much of that church basement activity they're funneling dollars to comes under the heading of "community organizing."

Still want to ridicule it, Sarah? Oh and, by the way, from my understanding of the mayor's job in Wasilla, AK, it's pretty light on responsibilities. It's more like a figurehead while a city administrator does the heavy lifting.

  • Somehow I don't think the Wilson sisters had intended to sing the praises of a nasty piece of work like Sarah.

Anyone who goes around telling people that she's a pit bull and a barracuda has got something wrong upstairs. And, having done that, any complaints of sexism and the media picking on her are just a lot of whining.

  • I am a lifelong Democrat...

No you're not. You have nothing in common with Democrats. You can't just say you're a Democrat while hating everything about Democrats and siding with people who represent everything that Democrats are against. It makes no sense.

You're a Republican. Admit it. And then go away.

  • Just out of curiosity, does anyone know how long ago it was that this "hockey mom" actually drove one of her kids to hockey practice?

I realize that it takes a bit of determination and perseverance to be getting up in the wee hours of the morning several times a week to take your kid to practice and to sit and watch him, but how does that equate to being a "pit bull?"

These GOP clowns just throw stuff out there as if it makes sense and their faithful followers gobble it up without any thought whatsoever.

  • Y'all are wearing blinders and don't realize that she is going to cause a huge jump in the polls and put the hurt to Biden. I'm telling you, if she does well in the debate McCain is going to win.

Y'all are full of it, too. You've been wrong so many times using so many different names, that your taunting is just a joke.

    A) She's not going to cause a jump in the polls
    B) She's not going to put the hurt to Biden
    C) She's not going to do well in the debate

Are you still pretending to be a Hillary supporter or did I miss the conversion to full-blown McCain fan?

  • Well, little Trig should be getting plenty of quality time with Mom over the next two months. That's assuming she continues to use him as a prop. Otherwise, I guess Bristol will be raising two kids on her own.

Oops! I mentioned her family members. Oh god, how could I!

  • She thinks she's George W. Bush.

    Divisive? Check.
    Self-important? Check.
    Petty and mean-spirited? Check.
    Habitually dodging consequences? Check.

It's hard enough to get one of these miserable creatures out of the White House. Let's make sure another one doesn't slither in.

  • Judging from Tracy...er...Sarah's condescending tone, it's apparent that she and all her adoring little ideologues look down on the notion of public service, volunteerism, and the desire to help inner city communities stand up for themselves.

They sneer at someone who achieves great things on merit and then volunteers his time to help those who are deeply disadvantaged. They applaud one who is given much due to his family's wealth and status and who blows it time and again.
