Kinda like how she won the nomination "easily"? For someone ready to be POTUS on day one, she sure wasn't ready for the campaign...

Obama isn't really disenfrachising anybody, the state party is. The Florida Democratic Party knew the rules, knew the consequences of breaking them, and did it anyway. The fault for this mess lies with them, not any of the candidates.
Besides, it seems to me that a candidate staking their presidential bid on a couple of the larger states is, in a way, disenfranchising the rest of the country, i.e. "the only states that matter are the ones that will win me the presidency". Just a thought.

Gotta agree that Gore wouldn't have any interest in the veep slot, though maybe elsewhere in an Obama administration.
I had been thinking about an Obama-Clark ticket until ol' Wes came out in support of Hillary. Seems to me that Obama might go with a governor, preferably one who hasn't been too prominent on the national stage...maybe Kaine, Warner, or even Bredesen here in TN. At any rate, the thought of a two-senator ticket just makes me nervous. Hasn't happened since the '60 election, and we all remember what happened when we tried it last time.
