  • Exactly! Although Chris Dodd due to his presidential run, might, I repeat might, be recognizable. But was that Byron Dorgin at the beginning? I have no clue who the first face was. Really, truly, no clue. If I, who considers herself a junkie (who will enter a 12-step program on Nov. 5) can't recognize all the faces...thus, the ad is "just more of the same".

  • I was more than nervous, I was getting p*ssed off that they kept saying "we know how to hit back, yadda yadda yadda" and they weren't hitting back - until now. And now I'm a content little donor.

  • Mo - FISA, and campaign finance. This impression on McCain won't last much longer though.

  • As an African-American woman, I find Tinker's ads shameful and painful. The fact that Emily's List has so lost its moral purpose is just sad. What truly troubles me is the complete and utter silence of the Black community on this woman's scurrilous attacks that resemble more Karl Rove than any Democrat, not named Zell Miller or Strom Thurmond, I have ever witnessed.

  • Ricky: you are absof*klutely correct. Jake Tapper is the one who started this, and even thought I know there is no way to call him to account, I do think the word needs to spread that this is because of him.

  • Richardson won't vet - he has a lot of issues back home. The only reason why this hasn't become an issue is because no one thought he would go far, and he didn't.

  • I respectfully disagree. If the protests are based upon the thesis of this post, i.e. it (the cover) lays bare the smugness and bigotry by those who are inhabitants of Manhattan, L.A. and S.F. (S.F. native by the way) of a certain socio-economic strata, and the Left/Progressives are offended (which I am)based upon said bigotry, then I think we can weather this.
