actually, the reason for invading iraq was to eliminate that "swing" producer.

prior to the invasion, iraq had the role as the destroyer of the saudi control of the cartel.

so, if you were a saudi ally, as are the rockefellers and their acolytes[the bushits, the cheneys, the rices], you would understand that your pockets would be enriched by disrupting iraq's hydrocarbon production.

the sad aspect of all this is that you don't know the bsc positions, do you?

just for the sake of illumination, what if bsc had gold, silver long. that bsc was on the opposite side of the fed's banker, jpmorgan chase. that bsc was primed to take out the fed's favorite banker with the largest exposure to derivatives[whatever they are, however they are valued].

let us never forget, though it goes completely undiscussed, jpmorgan chase is the largest stockholder of the federal reserve bank.

well, i think you may have missed my point.

some universities[harvard, for instance], with major financial interests, have been gaming the amerikan economy for years.

by the way, the harvard endowment goes way beyond millions of dollars. it goes into the BILLIONS of dollars.

by and large, amerikan universities seem to be exempted from much public scrutiny. i have found them to be shelters for the fascist state.

in massachusetts, there are at least two universities that function as agents for the state. one is harvard, of course. the other is MIT.

one should not forget that it was at harvard where the rockefellers parked henry kissinger.

so,similarly, they parked zbig brezinsky at columbia.

at the highest levels[probably at all levels] those who control the state use the amerikan educational system to manipulate public opinion.

it is often instructive to recognize the realities of the leaders of such educational institutions. for post-ww2 harvard it was james bryant conant[you can look him up]. columbia had a similar imperialist president in that era.

the long and the short of it is, we continue to live in a feudal era. amerikan universities are today's monasteries, kowtowing to liegelords.

actually, though often unrecognized, the real creator of electricity deregulation[thus ENRON]was the harvard corporation[major shareholder in ENRON via the harvard endowment].

the deregulation scheme was pitched for many years at the KENNEDY SCHOOL. many conferences were conducted at this venue promoting the deregulation of the "grid". these conferences involved corporations, academics, investment bankers, politicians.

a major player in this game was a principal in the firm managing the harvard endowment. also a member of the harvard board of overseers. he also was a member of the ENRON BOARD OF DIRECTORS.

i think he was also a member of the board of a mercenary outfit known as DYNCORP. an entity that achieved its first seat at the looting table during the clinton invasion of bosnia.

the name of this individual: HEBERT WINOCUR.

some time after harvard exited ENRON at the top, before its crash, winocur left the board of overseers[i think he was replaced by clinton's secretary of the treasury, ex goldman sachs, robert rubin].

some think harvard is an educational entity. that is just the "front". never forget the underlying institution, the harvard corporation.

and if you can follow the money over the last 50-60 years, i think that you will find that it has been that "corporation" that has been the most corrupt in the USA. it is the founding "syndicate".

danny mitrione was perhaps one of the best known. subject of a movie. teaching torture and death squadism to the repressive[militarist] oligarchical regimes of south amerika.

in the 1960's, usaid personnel[acting not unlike mitrione] were all involved in suppressing trade union movements, anti-fascist movements throughout what we called the "third world".

usaid coverts were all over the mass murders of anti-imperialists in sukarno's indonesia[1965?] for instance.

in 1963, the father of my best friend, a retired colonel in the usmc, was employed by usaid. his assignment was bolivia. his mission? to assist the bolivian police forces in eliminating trade unionist and nativist[indian]individuals who were intent on eliminating the spanish-derived, oligarchy.

now, who did he interface with in bolivia? who was it that he instructed as to the targets of the usa that were to be eliminated?

i always thought it to be the acme of irony. here was this marine colonel, who rose to that rank as a squadron commander in the pacific theater in WW2, working with a notable[but secreted] ex-french nazi to suppress anti-fascism in bolivia.

oh, and who was that guy he worked with? perhaps you will recall the name - klaus barbie, head of the bolivian gestapo. and in a former life, the head of the french gestapo in vichy france. a vile monster. who usaid had no problems working with in its efforts to snuff anti-imperialists, anti-fascists in bolivia.

from its inception, usaid was intended to be a cover for "spooks". not all usaid personnel were "spooks". but all usaid personnel knew that there were "spooks" on the payroll. just as all usa legation personnel knew that there were "spooks" serving under foreign service cover[military attache was the no brainer, but there was at least one other using a supposedly more benign title - agricultural attache, for instance].

it has always fascinated me. i knew hillary when she was at wellesley. as did most of my girlfriends.

none of us could understand how it was that she captured the school. she was really a second rate mind. and unattractive.

but, she was keen on seizing control of that student body political mechanism. no one else was.

excluding the history of the other parts of the globe, the history of the western hemisphere is a history of torture.

as h rap brown might have said, torture is as amerikan as apple pie.

prior to the invasion of the western hemisphere by the round eye, big noses, i think that the record is clear that torture was de rigeur[there weren't any noble savages]. the puritans of the massachusetts bay colony were keen on torture.

and of course, with the advent of the triangular trade[slaving], all those descendants of the puritans signed onto institutional torturing.

though some think that the confederate forces at andersonville camp were unique in their torturing, they weren't. the union forces were equally inhumane.

then there was teddy roosevelt. study the record of his invasion of the philippines and you will learn how torturing was the sop for the amerikan invaders.

later in the new century, the progressive, woodrow wilson was as keen on torturing.

sooner or later, it is going to have to be recognized that george walker bush, dick'em cheney are just the latest in a long line of amerikan grand inquisitors. the most recent resurrections of torquemada.

and as a previous poster mentioned, this country, institutionalized torture a long time ago. when ike[or was it jfk?] created the school of the torturers/assassins at fort benning. almost coincidental with jfk's creation of the uniformed torturers/assassins: the green berets.

who were the targets of this torturing, the death squads: latin american nationalists, anti-fascist trade unionists, anti-imperialists.

like the roman empire of old, the usa rubbed 'em out. and the democrats were as energetic in pursuing torture and assassinations as were the republicans.

the usa has a long reliance on torture and assassination. in its efforts to rule the world.

many don't want to recognize it, but after the signing of the treaty ending the pacific war, where the usa perpetuated the japanese monarchy, established the false democracy, and renovated the militarist zaibatsu, units of the usarmy and the kempaitai rounded up all the japanese opponents of the monarchy, the zaibatsu. then tortured them. then killed them.

there is a "hidden" history of the years after ww2.

i conclude this way. there are some who want to believe that the usa was once a noble country. that is a mistaken idee fixe.

this country has always been one of torturers and murderers.

and don't you ever forget it.
