Answering questions with unrelated talking point speeches is standard procedure for these people. It's up to a good moderator to control them and keep them on point. At the very least, the moderator should admonish them if they try to do it.

Don't forget that 'Texan' GWB's dad, Poppy was actually born in blue, blue, blue, MA, in not too far from where JFK was born.

Napoleon, I mean McCain, must be frothing at the mouth over these new polls. I'm sure his response, internally and externally, will be nasty. I say Napoleon because of his military self image, and also because of his issue with size, or more accurately, lack of it. I understand from the Rolling Stone cover story that he is very sensitive about his shortness and often flies off the handle if it is brought up. Temper, temper.

You never expected them to honor McCain's word that the Wright story was off limits, did you? Word was out that Obama was going to release a piece on McCain's Keating Five scandal, and we're off to the nuclear war portion of the campaign. Read the Rolling Stone cover story, John McCain, Make Believe Maverick for how despicable and unfit for the presidency this man is.
A closer look at the life and career of John McCain reveals a disturbing record of recklessness and dishonesty

Read the current cover story in Rolling Stone for an eye opening background expose of John McCain, maverick, agent for change, war hero.

I connect that pronunciation to Bush, Elder and Junior, but I seem to remember Jimmy Carter doing it, too? Yes, no?
