  • They only polled 900 people! That's ridiculous. I know that's what they do, but the model needs to be updated. It is not a big enough sampling. That's why polls have been crap since, oh, about 2000! These are 900 people who were sitting home by the phone on a weekday, no doubt!

  • I agree with you that transferring the costs of health care to the governement would have made American businesses more competitive, but as I recall, that was not Hillary's plan. Her plan was the old mandate thing with community pricing, HMOs, and plenty of goodies to keep insurers and Big Pharm happy.

  • I like suppoters. Kind of a mash-up of supporters and voters.

  • I am a hard-working white woman and I am thrilled that we are going to have this beautiful amazing Black family in the White House. It makes me happy to see barriers falling, people appreciating each other for their talents and strengths as we go forward. Hillary just revealed how backward and old-school she really is with her knuckleheaded remark. If she really does have a slim majority of non-college-educated people behind her, I don't see what's to brag about!

  • I don't agree with that use of the word "hack." A hack is "a person who works solely for mercenary reasons," like a screenwriter who writes junk for money is a hack writer. I really don't know what Atrios is getting at. Anyway, "conservative thought" has become such an oxymoron it is not worth worrying about.

  • Dude, seek help immediately! Be sure to tell your health care provider what you just told us. Don't worry, you will get through this and it will be okay....

  • You are really voting for the person and the person's character and values. Whatever policies they espouse today may or may not be possible to enact when elected, but the person is what you get and are stuck with, regardless. That said, this overly long, contentious, nasty primary should be over by now!

  • Really, Elizabeth? Why? That's crazy. She already took a crack at health care, remember?
