  • Can someone offer forth a little pro/con list about Chet Edwards? That would definitely be a "dark horse" pick.

  • I heard on the Ed Schulz show this morning that Obama won Cleveland, Cincinnati, Dayton and Columbus. He won in all the big cities, where Hillary won in the rural outlying areas and smaller cities. She continues to claim that you have to win Ohio to win the nomination, but Ed's argument was that John Mccain will handily beat her in those areas where she won last night. The real place to win will be in the cities, where Barack won handily. It'd be nice to get some coverage of that.

  • Beautiful letter. I'm so disgusted with Howard Wolfson et al. I started off supporting Hillary, but they have ruined her entire campaign for me. She caves into them and keeps them on, despite it smacking of the same "cronyism" for which she condemns the Bush administration. Now, feeling angry and desperate, she lashes out personally. It's really too much.
I only wish your letter would really get into the hands of some of the Clinton operatives, so they could see what kind of damage they have done to their candidate.

  • Do you honestly think gun violence is NOT a problem in this country?! Day after day, there are reports of innocents being killed by people with non-restricted access to guns. We are not talking about hunting rifles, we are talking about semi automatic and automatic weapons. We are the sad joke of the rest of the world, when it comes to this. I have lived in several other countries where there is hardly ever any issue of gun violence. Don't you think this is something that should be addressed? Maybe you don't have children, so you don't understand how awful these parents of innocent victims feel. If you ever were in an area where this gun violence has occured, you wouldn't be so glib in your response. In any case, I don't think it's wussy and it's very egocentric of you to say so. Plus, I was asking a question for the debate, not really for you to give your own pro-NRA comments.

  • I would like Senators Obama and Clinton to talk, in Texas, about what they plan to do about the gun violence we continue to see in elementary, middle, high schools, Universities, shopping malls and city halls across our country. Is this not considered domestic terrorism, when people have to worry about their children being killed at their schools? Or when you have to think twice before going to a shopping mall? Can something finally be done about this? It's a national shame.
