they FLOCKED to Obama when his campaign played the "race card" on Bill Clinton and then every life long civil rights activist thereafter who mentioned the word "black"!
Better listen up Obama ... what's pissing people off is NOT that you are black. It's that the black community skewed this race between two good candidates by voting based on race...not qualification.
And I too as I note here, am more than a bit miffed at the treatment of the Clintons by the boneheaded people who subscribe every evil intent to them while engaging in messianic dreams about Obama.
Hell, I didn't even like Hillary until this campaign but watching the rabid behavior of Obama supporters, the pointy headed media and the dirty tactics of the Obama campaign, it will be a nasty experience voting for Obama in the fall.
It won't be forgotten soon.Posted at May 12, 2008 6:13 PM in response to The Myth Of The Black Racist Voter

Many of us are very unhappy with the black block voting that has so skewed this nomination process. Many of us are unhappy about the personal, hyperbolic attacks on Hillary by Obama supporters.
Obama is a very vulnerable candidate. I think the republicans are going to dismantle him in the fall. They won't be constrained from mentioning the obvious about him. And the caucus state strategy that propelled him into the lead in the primary won't do crap for him in the GE. And, even though I know it will result in me being called in a racist, that black block voting will not win Obama the election.
I don't like Obama. I don't like how the black community turned on the Clintons. But I'll vote for him in the fall but I fear the vast majority of people across this country are going to reject HIM in droves. Race was used to win him this nomination so when race is used to defeat him in the fall, there's no one to blame but himself.

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton said today that it would be “the height of political foolishness” for Democrats to back a Republican, or not vote at all, if they’re disappointed by the outcome of the long-running nomination battle between her and Barack Obama.
“Anyone, anyone, who voted for either of us should be absolutely committed to voting for the other” in the general election, Clinton said during an hourlong meeting with The Indianapolis Star Editorial Board. “I’m going to shout that from the mountaintops and the valleys and everywhere I can, no matter what the outcome of the nominating process is.”
...“no matter what the differences are between Senator Obama and myself, they pale in comparison to the differences we have with Senator McCain and the Republicans.”

Obama should do the same. Clinton is right! no matter who wins, a vote for McCain is idiotic. There is a hair's width of difference between Obama and Clinton on the issues! If either campaign's supporters vote for McCain...then simply put, they are idiots who were already voting for their candidates for the wrong reasons.Posted at May 3, 2008 10:39 AM in response to Poll: Clinton Ahead By Seven In Indiana

Zogby has become so skewed that at that point, his predictions are worthless.
Survey USA has been very close if you look at their final polling numbers for the latest set of primaries.

""It's not enough to go down alone, either. She needs the "billy glads", the "fogu2"'s, and other chicken-hawk pussies to go down on her while she flogs herself publicly. She cheers them on to join her in her twisted public display of "cutting"... much like an emotionally disturbed teen would encourage others to join in on slashing their limbs with razor blades to release pent-up frustrations.""
yet another fine example of the Obama's quality support network and their grasp of the process. Don't some of you people who support him ever get tired of this drivel out of your group?

I have the same reaction when Obama appears on TV... it's like listening to Rev Moon.
ANY voter who "say" they are supporting Obama who say they won't vote for Hillary (and visa versa)... well, their level of ignorance will be showing. I invite both campaigns to straighten up the idiots who are supporting them.
The only "choice" for a progressive, liberal or moderate is going to be Hillary or Obama. I might have to hold my nose to vote for Obama but I will do it because the consequences of getting McBush as president are too dire to imagine.

I wonder what Obama supporters are going to say IF Obama starts a downward spiral in these next states?
What will be the excuse then if Obama begins to lose them by 20 or 30 points in the upcoming states and Hillary moves into the lead?
Will you once again BLAME the Clinton campaign? Will all these arguments you make about super delegates voting for the "popular" vote apply?
I have a very real sense that the Obama juggernaut is over. Too many of the chickens he's been hatching over many year have come to roost and that is due solely to his own poor choices and inability to articulate specifics (or exhibit real understanding of) on the issues.
chanting unity might make nice TV but it doesn't do much to solve the very real problems in this country

IF Zogby is calling it 10 points for Hillary, don't be surprised if it ends up being more. Zogby has clearly exhibited an Obama bias of late in his polling. Look at Ohio and Texas.

amazing... when Obama makes a clearly demeaning remark about small town americans (he should have just said bible thumping rednecks) he get's a free pass!
Excuse me, what he said was bigoted and insulted. If small town American don't agree with "his" assessment that open borders are OK or that unfair trade isn't responsible for erosion of their way of life...that they start drinking bible koolaid and wagging their guns!
Give me a break. This man attended a church that preached against multiculturalism for over 20 years. Do you really think he likes or understands "bubba"!
Unbelievable that no matter how many facts surface about this man, or how many gaffs he makes on "real" issues... he gets a pass.
Guess what people, he GWB with a left twist and if he should survive the GE (doubtful) then hang on because there will be an even wider divide than what we have now.
