  • How about not starting out thinking that Hillary supporters are disillusioned and you aren't. Hillary supporters voted for a democrat in the primary too. I think by her recent actions it shows that her blood runs blue as we have known all along. How about finding another topic of discussion, we are capable of making up our own mind as to who to vote for in November. Hillary is not the enemy, nor are the people that voted for her.

  • Today just confirmed what I have known all along. That I voted, donated, and supported a person who is a true leader. I see no point now in trying to explain why, it is irrelevant now. It did not change my perception of Obama, sorry but it only reinforced my belief in her. Of course, it was the right thing for her to do. She is, after all a democrat. A democrat that shares my values much more than Obama. As for my vote, I am a union man for almost 20 years. I have never voted for a republican before and don't plan to this time. I will not enjoy pulling the lever for Obama.

  • Her speech was just a example of her qualities that make her a real leader. She put her feelings aside in order to do more good for the country. I have never been more sure that I was voting, donating and supporting the right candidate. I have no doubt that she will work to help Obama.

  • I have been a strong supporter of Hillary, and once again I find myself in the minority. I see nothing positive about Hillary being the VP.

Its not just women who feel this way. One big contributing factor for my "bitterness" was being betrayed by the MSM for neutrality. To be specific, MSNBC. I understand that people who support Obama may not see the little things I saw on TV. Just yesterday I heard Chris Matthews declare regular dems will vote for Obama in November, in reference to the ladies shouting at the RBC meeting. I thought, you F*ck, you voted for George Bush over Al Gore in 2000 and you have the nerve to question my commitment to being a democrat.

I will say Obama ran a good campaign, was just not my choice, and now yes....I am very bitter, but not so much at him personally. I sincerely hope I can get over it by November as I have always voted for democrats right down the line.

  • I am a novice at best here. The why wait is because in my opinion it further alienates Clinton supporters much more than it helps Obama. As I said, he has pretty much won. I would think keeping the party together is more important than winning independants in May.

I never onced mentioned Hillary winning the nomination. For you to suggest that you can read my mind is a little out there...but hey, you sounded good.
