As a Wolverine this analogy pains me, but: McCain = Chris Webber (circa 1993)

Shorter version: Team McCain is out of time-outs. And it's the Fourth Quarter. And their captain just formed a "T" with both his addled hands. You can practically see Coach Schmidt's look of abject horror on the sidelines as this all unfolds.

We're gonna win this thing! Assuming we keep working for it, of course; but good goddamn! As a citizen that shamelessly bemoaned the MSM treatment (read: dramatic exaggeration) of the Clinton-Obama post-primary drama, I'm thoroughly fired up and ready to go do my best to get Joe and Barack into the White House ASAP.
