  • Jenn in Indiana, and everyone else disgusted at how "feminist" seems to mean only "certain white women who support Clinton"--hey, now you know how it feels to be a woman of color! :) The refusal of some "feminist" Clinton supporters to recognize that there are many feminismS and no one has a monopoly on what the word means or who it signifies is annoying to say the least. And has been ever since former slave Sojourner Truth stood up among her white female abolitionist/suffragette allies and said, "Ain't I a woman?"

Anyway, come on over to MOMocrats.com, where there are plenty of straight-up feminist supporters of Obama (and Clinton, to a lesser degree). Just because individual commenters may not have seen much posting by feminists supporting Obama doesn't mean they don't exist.

  • Zebra,
Excellent refutation of Cocco's op-ed piece.

Congrats on becoming an Obama delegate! What a historic DNC this'll be.

Just wanted to reach out to another Asian American woman for Obama--I'm an Asian American feminist for Obama too. Represent, in all senses of the word.

  • I was appalled when she boasted not long after OH or PA that "seniors were going without medication and people took their grocery money to support my campaign" (paraphrased) and now, some kid sold his bicycle so he could support her campaign.

People who have very little should sacrifice so an extremely privileged multimillionaire woman with a bad case of overweening entitlement and enlarged sense of aggrieved victimhood can continue running?

    Disgusting.

  • I reject and denounce that suggestion, made by whatever pundit said it.

The Clintons are rolling in it. They should have to pay for the vanity production toxic dog & pony show they've been putting us through these past 6 weeks. In fact, I think 18.4 cents from Clinton coffers should go to every living American for having to hear about that stupid gas tax holiday for as long as we did.

  • Well apparently she's a man now. Cojones and duck hunting and Crown Royal shooters all.

What's next, Hil? A pinch between cheek and gum, and a little styrofoam cup you carry with you to spit in? Big-wheeled monster trucks? See-gars?

    Sheesh.

  • As would expanding broadband access to isolated or rural areas.

When you can follow-up on a candidates' claims or do your own poking around online, you have a fighting chance of getting some knowledge and becoming more informed.
