kos is talking about the effect Obama will have on down ticket races.

I can say that the head of the party in our county, the largest county in our red state, is very excited about an election with Obama at the head of the ticket - he believes we will go purple, possible blue, for the first time in a long time.

We had an enormous turnout and made substantial progress in republican precincts.

Hillary will not be the 2008 Democratic nominee. It's done.

so - lets enjoy the rest of our votes, and organize lots more Dems.

Obama doesn't "need" to do anything else at all. Just stay cool, continue doing what he's been doing and wait until everyone else catches on to what he already knows.
