  • Okay, and Obama gets a switcheroo from Joe Andrew, former DNC chair appointed by Bill Clinton. That's a 2 delegate swing, minus 1 from Hill, plus one for Obama. You should see the AP story:

    Now, that's an endorsement.

  • Actually, all of the negative, gotcha, kitchen sink stuff from the Clinton campaign started when Solis left and Maggi Williams came on officially. This is her style, remember the defense of the Foster scandal. It has her fingerprints all over it.

  • I also needed the Pell grants, Medicaid (MediCal), food stamps, and tons of student loans to get my education. I would have needed section 8 housing if the university had not arranged an equivalent, student housing. Hey wait a minute, I'm not a minority either, FUCK PAT BUCHANAN!

  • And, this is just one of many such "insignificant" departures from reality that she has be elaborating lately: Ireland, Bosnia, NAFTA, etc.

Wait until the tax returns, the library donor list, and the fall-out from her new-revised-NAFTA position comes around again.

Do you think the media will just ignore it, as usual?

  • I'll keep it simple. Baloney.

  • I can understand your anger, frustration and bitterness. I sent off an email to the Morning Joe show on MSNBC giving them a piece of my mind that explained why the Rev. Wright was saying things that were true that Americans just can't handle. However, I realize that if you just read the words, or hear them spoken softly, they make a lot of sense to a lot of people. In this case though, the style will not win over the opinion of a lot of people. The gospel style does not work in a lot of settings.

I am a white middle aged man. I have been ridiculed and denigrated for my dark skin color, and although I have not ever any overt racism occur toward me, I'm sure that there have been suspicions on the part of others toward me. I have heard and felt the anguish and utter disappointment of a black friend as he recounted a blatant racist remark directed at him. It saddens me that we still have this kind of national ignorance and stupidity.

I understand what Sen. Obama did today, and as much as I know he really did not want to do it, he had to do it so he can win a much bigger battle. Being a man of extreme wisdom and knowledge, Rev. Wright understands full well and I'm sure has seen this day coming for quite some time. I'm sure that he is joyous is many ways that Barack Obama is winning and will go all the way.

All of us that want to see fundemental change in this country should do whatever we can, make whatever sacrifice is needed, and become the change we want to see. That is the Obama way.

Kind of like Lieberman I would say.

  • Well, that is certainly one theory and yes, she is certainly capable. She is the queen bitch, no?

This is political extortion, Clinton style.

"Let me win via SD's or I take Obama down with me and McCain will win".

I don't think the DNC will negotiate with kidnappers, extortionists, or political terrorists such as Hillary Clinton.

Another scenario, sometimes cited, is that she is doing this long enough to guarantee the VP for herself.

If I were Barack Obama, having HRC as VP would be like sleeping with a rattlesnake under your bed. It will come back to bite you, probably at the next election. Social or political mores do not exist for HRC. She is in it to win, no matter what it takes.

  • I'm sure the Hillary will be really upset by this remark.

And, then she will quicky don her really hurt and indignant outfit, skin, facade, and try to make hay out of it. After all she is the true opportunistic narcissist who will say or do anything to get elected. And, her acting is getting better. Has anyone noticed?

  • My sentiments exactly. And, probably part of the reason that this whole story has received so little airtime after the intial Obama bashing.

The first contact regarding the "don't worry" comment was in fact from someone in the Clinton campaign.
