Netherland
As you may have heard, the President is now reading Joseph O'Neill's Netherland, a novel about playing cricket in New York, and the American Dream, and so forth. Excellent choice, POTUS. We here at Cafe also love Netherland, and you can check out our book club discussion of it last summer here. Enjoy.

Off subject, but the word "Netherland" caught my eye.
I was in the Netherlands during WWII. I bought a pair of wooden shoes and sent them home to my Mother. The shoes still exist.

I read your recommendations and I am looking forward to reading Netherland too. The American Dream has generated many literature titles and each author view has something interesting to share with us. I wonder whether during your book club discussions has there been anyone eager to sell textbooks online and bring this matter up also. I for one have valuable books to sell and I don`t know whom to address to.
