Gallup: Jewish Vote for Obama 75% + (Same As Other Dem Nominees) ** VIDEO

I predicted that Obama would do as well with Jews as Kerry, Gore, Clinton, etc. Now Gallup confirms it.

The best news in this is that it is possible to view the Jewish vote as a microcosm Yes, Jews always vote Democratic. But the ebbs and flows tend to reflect the country at large. The two Democrat nominees in recent memory who fared poorly among Jews were Carter (45%) in 1980 and McGovern (65%) in 1972. (Note: Carter won a plurality of the Jewish vote. It was a 3-candidate race).

Earlier this electoral season, the Jewish vote was shaky. Most Jews, not me, preferred Hillary. And when she lost, many Jewish voters were angry. Plus, there were those scurrilous e-mails to Jews alleging that Obama was a terrorist.

Anyway, Hillary's efforts have turned things around along with Sarah Palin's, Sarah Silverman's, and John McCain's. Plus, Obama himself has sold himself to Jews along with everyone else along with the help of an outstanding effort by the campaign's Jewish outreach unit.

So...that 75-80% among Jews probably means that among the other 98% of America, he's above 50%, just like the polls tell us.

I'm proud of the Jewish voters. So is Moses. And here is a great video of Israelis telling why, if they could vote, they would vote for O.

Mr. Rosenberg won't respond to me out of pique, (except to erroneously assume I am leaving the country) but mainly because he has no answers. So I will again raise the rhetorical question for others to discuss if they wish: would Senator Obama have achieved the such a high level of support among American Jewish voters if he espoused the same views as Mr. Rosenberg and his friends concerning alleged human rights violations by the Government of Israel and the need for that Government to make unilateral territorial concessions to the Palestinians?

Of course not.

Money quote: "... concerning alleged human rights violations by the Government of Israel..."

Alleged? Your credibility rating: Zero.

apacmember, as an American Jew I tell you: if you are so concerned with the future of Israel, if you think making aliyah is a big mitzvah than yes, please go there and put your tuchus where your mouth is.
Just don't expect me, or my neighbors, to send our money with you without some kind of conditions Israel must meet, and don't ever, ever ask my neightbors to expend their children's blood in your behalf.
Your absolutely unconscionable tendency to tell us a priori that you will condemn as an anti-semite anybody who does not aceded to your demands, is a shame which Judaism must bear.
Oh, and read this. If you can. http://jewssansfrontieres.blogspot.com/2008/10/zionist-antisemitism-revisited.html

I am more and more convinced that American Zionism is not a coherent or workable program, it is simply a psychological disease which enables Jews to participate in the type of blood hungry mob thought usually denied to them, by their own religion.
