I Need Your Help
I need your help. And I'd really appreciate it if you can spare a little time for this.
As you know the current TPM commenting and blogging set up leaves a lot to be desired. And this weekend we're doing some final testing of our upgraded system that we're hoping to roll out on Monday. The features are much more robust than the current setup. And they make it easier to follow conversations you're participating.
But we need some more readers to volunteer to test the new set up before we launch. It doesn't take a lot of time. We just want you to try out the new version of the site which is currently on a non-public server as we get the final bugs out. Trying the new commenting system, do a test blog post, try out a few of the new tools.
Like I said, I'd really appreciate it if folks can help us out with this. It doesn't take much time and it will help us give you a much better experience in the time you spend on all the TPM network sites, and especially here at TPMCafe.
If you can help us tonight that's great but over the weekend will help too. If you're game please send an email to tpmbeta (at) gmail.com and we'll get you set up and ready to go.

Andrew, I already did and got a response from you and I tried to log in with a beta test name and password, but my alternate email address that I had to provide never got the corresponding link that it was supposed to recieve.

Yeah, we had a problem with the emails going out on the test server. So we apologize for wasting your time with that. But if you can email us again at the emails in the post, we'll get you set right up.

I tried yesterday and had the same problem. I sent you an email awhile ago and haven't heard back yet. God forbid you should actually have a life outside TPM. ;)

Well, as soon as the request was posted a week or so ago I volunteered.
I received a email notifying the system was ready for testing; I established a discrete test account, in accordance with the instructions; and never received a confirmatory email.
I sent a message indicating that I hadn't received the confirmatory message. I received a response suggesting I check my spam folder.
After a number of email exchanges I received an email today telling me that "I've enabled you. If you go to this link and sign in it should work:". I attempted to login and received the "Invalid Login" message. I have tried a number of times to login, carefully entering my user name and password, which I wrote down when I set up the account.
I'd be happy to help with the test but I am unable to login and never received the activation email. So, I guess I won't be helping with the test.

I wanted to volunteer too. When I tried to send an email, I got an error message telling me that tpmbeta@gmail.com. is not a recognized email.

I had volunteered and went to sign up but got the message "The e-mail address is already in use" Do I have to have a second e-mail address as well as a new username in order to try out the beta version?
